Katey didn't know what to do. All she could think of was Megan. Katey had lived with her family. One day Katey, and Megan, her sister, found a mirror in their basement that took them to the Enchanted Forest. A magical place that was ruled by the evil Queen Alli. They made friends and found their brother and sister, Daniel and Naomi who went missing. They also turned Alli good again. Megan and Naomi had magical powers and Megan sacrificed herself but survived.
The tears that she was holding back finally came out. Katey sat there crying for her sister, hoping that she wouldn't get hurt. Katey finally stopped when she saw the first rays of light. She had to send a message now. She ran to her room and started writing a note.
It said,
Daniel I need help. Last night Annie returned and kidnapped Megan and jumped into the portal. I can't get into the portal and save her. Please send help. I can't lose her like how I thought I lost you and Naomi. Please hurry. I'm scared of what might happen.

Katey grabbed an envelope and sealed it shut. Then she ran to the mailbox and inserted the envelope. The mailbox was enchanted by Naomi. Naomi made the mailbox send letters to the Enchanted Forest, but it couldn't send letters back. That's why Olaf, the Gatekeeper now delivered letters from the forest and lived here.
Once the mailbox glowed Katey ran inside and grabbed the phone. She typed in the phone number and waited for an answer.
"Hello?" Taylor said through the phone.
"Taylor, you and Liam have to come to my house now. I will explain everything as soon as you get here. Please hurry." Katey exclaimed.
"Okay. I'll get Liam and we will be there in a few minutes." Taylor replied.
Katey hung up the phone and sat on the couch thinking about what they were doing to Megan. She thought of people in books and movies who had curses, memories gone, memories changed, and more. She was scared and worried for her sister.
Katey waited for 10 minutes when Taylor and Liam. They looked like they were in a hurry to get there. Taylor's hair was in a messy ponytail and her shirt was backwards, while her pants were drooping down. Liam was the worst he looked like he was in the middle of taking a shower and his shirt and pants were inside out.
"So what is so important that you had to wake up Taylor and stop me from taking my shower." Liam asked. "By the way, where is Megan?"
"That's why I called you. Last night, Megan was kidnapped by Annie and escaped through the portal." Katey said as she started crying.
She was so tired of repeating the story again because every time Katey thought of more terrible things.
"Did you send a message?" Taylor asked.
"Yes." Katey said for the fourth time.
Liam walked outside. Katey saw tears coming out. When they first met in the Enchanted Forest, Megan and Liam both became close friends, and they would spend so much time together.
Taylor continued to ask the same questions and Katey answered them again and again.
"For the last time, I don't know how she got into the house." Katey answered for the third time. "You should be worried about Liam. He has been outside for the longest time."
"You're right. I'm just trying to figure this out. I don't understand how Annie could have done this." Taylor explained.
Liam ran into the house with a paper in his hand and a little crystal cube.
"I got the letter. As soon as I saw Olaf slip the letter in the mailbox and go, I got up and opened the letter." Liam said.
"Why didn't you tell us sooner." Taylor asked.
Katey didn't bother listening to Liam's reply. She just grabbed the paper and started reading.
"Rude." Liam mumbled.
Dear Katey,
I'm so sorry. I wish I could just have magic like Hazel and Megan and teleport to her so I could help. Anyway, If Megan is in the Forest that means you and probilitly Taylor and Liam need to come here now. The cube apparently has magic to start the portal and bring you here. Hazel inserted some magic in it so it could do that. We are still thinking about what to call it, but I'm not worried about that. When Hazel was done with the cubes she was wiped out and teleported away. I haven't seen her sense. I'm worried about her and Megan. Come here as soon as you can with Taylor and Liam, and we can make a plan to save Megan.

. They ran down stairs into the basement and grabbed the cube.
"Is everyone ready?" Katey asked as Taylor and Liam nodded their heads.
"Then let's go back to the forest." Katey said as she raised the cube.
The mirror glowed and they stepped into the mirror letting the portal take them back to The Enchanted Forest.
