I looked at the scenery in front of me and immediately feel butterflies in my stomach. The place where they held the X factor show, which is at Wembley Stadium this year, was packed with a lot of people; by a lot I mean probably a couple thousand. I felt chilly and my entire body was shaking which were probably because of the nerves getting the best of me. I put my jacket on and queued up like the rest of the contestants and wait patiently while mentally thanking myself for arriving early. After 50 minutes, I got my contestant number and went inside the waiting area.
I saw contestants pacing, relaxing, crying and laughing. They all sat down in the waiting area with their family and it made me sad to think that I was here alone. I sigh and make my way to the farthest part of the room. I pulled out my phone and plugged in my earphones, playing the song that I would be singing to later. Time passed and contestants started to perform. Honestly, I have a really long time till I have to perform but seeing some auditions fail and get rejected really made me nervous. My body began to shake, I started sweating and I felt like I was gonna cry and chunder at the same time. My body moved faster than my mind because the next thing I know, I'm running into the girls bathroom and leaning into the toilet, puking my breakfast. I honestly just wanted to cry. I stepped out after a while and see a lady who was I think in her late thirties. She looked like she was waiting for me. She was wearing a shirt that said 'We think Harry has the X Factor'. She smiled a warm smile that made me smile too.
"Hi dear, my name is Anne Styles. Are you okay?" she asked sweetly. I felt some what safe when she talked.
"Oh. I'm Kayelee Clarke. I'm sorry, I'm just really nervous," I said politely.
"No need to apologize dear. Where is your family?" she asked. She stared at me waiting for a reply with a look of concern.
"I came here alone. I don't really have a family," I said. She looked shocked at my response and even I was shocked that I told her that. It just came natural when I told her that and I don't know why.
"Why don't you come with me Kayelee? Let's have some tea to calm our nerves." I just nodded in response and followed her to a cafe for some tea.
Could this be what it felt like to have a mum? Is this what they call 'Motherly Love'?
After we bought tea, we sat down at a nearby settee.
"Kayelee, as a mother. I'm concerned for you. You think you can share to me what you meant earlier in the bathroom dear?" she asked ever so sweetly. I looked at her for a moment and decided to tell her.
After telling her my story, tears had already managed to escape my eyes and her eyes. She looked shocked by my tragic story and hugged me. The feeling of being in her arms immediately comforted me. Her hug wasn't like any other hug I felt. It wasn't like Papa's or Kaleb's or Pappi's hugs. Is this what a mother's hug feels like?
After finishing our tea and little chat. She offered me to sit with her and her family. I immediately refused at first, but after her continuous begging, I finally gave in.

"I wonder where mum had gone? She has been gone for hours." I silently mumbled.
Right as I finished those thoughts I see mum walking towards us with a tall, blond and very skinny looking girl. She was facing the ground while my mum was tugging on her to walk towards us. Once they got in front of Gemma and me, she looked up. She had piercing green eyes like mine. She looked beautiful, like a model. From what I could see, she had been crying with her puffy eyes and red nose, and so had mum.
