I wore a long sleeve white button up shirt opened midway, with a black tube inside, tucked in a loose denim jeans (also known as mom jeans) and black and white checkered vans. I rolled up my sleeves up midway through my wrist and elbow. I then proceeded with my hair, I combed down my curly locks with much effort and parted my hair halfway, placing the top part into a messy bun. I grabbed my small sling bag and placed my phone inside it as I made my way to the taxi I hailed, driving to the arena.
"Hey! You nervous?" Louis spoke. I had already arrived at the stadium and was sitting backstage with Lou as we waited for our time to perform on stage. I was bitting my lip really hard and touching my ear —something I normally do when I'm anxious.
"Extremely," was all I replied. I got my phone and played on it to distract me.
"Oh hush! You'll do great," Lou said in a sassy tone making me smile. "Aha! There it is," he pointed at me noticing my smile.
"Thanks, Lou. I don't know what I'd do without you," I said to him for cheering me up.
"Awww! Superman is flattered!" He said in a baby tone making me go in a fit of laughter.
"Louis Tomlinson, you're next," One of the staff yelled making me turn to Louis. I walked with him to the side of the stage and gave him a big hug before he walked up the stairs.
Louis sang a beautiful song called 'Angels' by none other than Robie Williams. Louis sang it beautifully! Like an angel, if you must. After he finished the song, I gave him a hug and congratulated him. We went backstage to wait some more and 13 minutes later I was called. Louis gave me another hug and told me that I was fabulous before I went up on stage which made me chuckle. I looked at the judges as they gave me a smile and nodded for me to start. I was less nervous this time because there was no audience. But still, I was bloody nervous! I closed my eyes and focused on Kaleb as I sang 'Brother' by Kodaline.
♫ When we were young we were the ones
The kings and queens oh yeah, we ruled the world
We smoked cigarettes man no regrets
Wish I could relive every single word
We've taken different paths
And travelled different roads
I know we'll always end up on the same one when we're old
And when you're in the trenches
And you're under fire I will cover you
If I was dying on my knees
You would be the one to rescue me
And if you were drowned at sea
I'd give you my lungs so you could breathe ♫As I sang those last 3 lines, I meant them with all my heart. If I could have the chance to die instead of my brother, I would do it in a blink.
♫ I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er
Oh brother, we'll go deeper than the ink
Beneath the skin of our tattoos
Though we don't share the same blood
You're my brother and I love you that's the truth
We're living different lives
Heaven only knows
If we'll make it back With all our fingers and our toes
5 years, 20 years, come back
It will always be the same
If I was dying on my knees
You would be the one to rescue me
And if you were drowned at sea
I would give you my lungs so you could breathe
I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er
And if we hit on troubled water
I'll be the one to keep you warm and safe
And we'll be carrying each other
Until we say goodbye on our dying day
Because I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er
If I was dying on my knees
You would be the one to rescue me
And if you were drowned at sea
I would give you my lungs so you could breathe
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
I've got you brother-er-er-er
I've got you brother-er-er-er ♫
