I failed twice and that's what hurt the most. The fact that this was my second time and I thought that this would be my year is just embarrassing and horrible. I was about to leave when a staff came with an announcement.

"Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Esther Campbell, Jessica Batist, Clarissa White and Sophia Wardman, the judges would like to see you again. Please come back on stage," the staff said.

I looked around as names were called, there was a curly haired boy who raised his hand when he got called, a another guy with jet black hair, a blond boy and another guy hugging a girl, who I assume is his girlfriend. They shot their heads up when they heard their name along with me. We got back up on stage and put our arms over each others shoulders.

"Hi, guys. I know it's a shock and judging from your faces I know you're all hurt. The judges and I think that you are just too good to let go," Cheryl said making my heart beat a million times faster.

"Girls, you're all talented and I am willing to give you a second chance as a group. Don't take this lightly and I want you to grab this opportunity and work hard," Cheryl said to the girls on our right. The girls jumped and scream saying thank you to Cheryl then walked down the stage. Cheryl then turned her attention to us. I don't know what's gonna happen but I am sure it will be good.

"Boys, I'll leave you to Simon," she said sweetly as she sat down.

Simon looked at us for a while before turning to one of the producers whispering something. He took off his mic and walked over to us on stage.

"Boys, I want to have a private talk with you. The cameras are turned off and so are the microphones. This is just you and me boys," Simon explained. The boys and I just nodded in return. What's he going to do?

"Like the girls, you're going to be a band," he said as we all relaxed and silently cried at the same time. We were so happy with this second chance. "But," he continued making us nervous. "I don't want you to be a boy band. I want to add a girl to your group and would you be willing to do that?" He asked us.

I don't know if I would want a girl because it would be awkward since she'll be with 5 boys. At the same time, I don't want to judge her yet.

"It just depends on the girl really, if I'm being honest," a guy with brown hair who I learned was Louis said looking at us for approval. We nodded saying that we were thinking the same thing.

"Well, lucky for you and Harry, you have already met her," Simon said to Louis. Him and a curly headed boy looked at each other confused before a look realization hit Louis.

"Kayelee?" He asked excitedly. The curly haired boy who I presumed was Harry looked at him then at Simon with a smile. Were they talking about the girl Louis was hugging?

"If it's her, I would agree," Harry quickly added.

"Why? Who is she?" The blond guy with thick Irish accent asked confused.

"Well, first of all, she has an amazing voice. Second, she's really nice and very different from other girls. Trust me, you'd like her very much," Harry said with a huge grin.

"Yes, I agree with Harry. She's amazing guys and if we get to have this second chance, she most definitely deserves it too," Louis explained. I can tell that there was more to her than we knew judging from the way Louis talked about her.
