Soobin woke up to the wonderful sound of morning birds chirping. There was something going today. He just knew it. Parents' Anniversary? No. Last day of school? Sadly, no. He racked his brain to figure out what was going to happen today. Then it hit him. It was his 18th birthday. The day when he was going to find his soulmate. He was really hoping that it was a specific boy.

The way you found your soulmate was rather... Odd. You were to usually get invited to some big event and BAM! You have found your soulmate. You knew that specific person was your soulmate because wherever they first touched you, there would be a blotch your favorite color. You would have a blotch of that person's favorite color on you too.

You know that one excited feeling when you realize you're a year older? Yes, that feeling. That's exactly what Soobin was feeling. He excitedly hopped out of his bed and grabbed his uniform and changed from his bunny onesie (UwU) to the stylish dark blue and pale yellow uniform. He raced into his bathroom and started to brush his teeth.

"Soobin! Breakfast is ready!" Soobin's mom yelled from down stairs. "Coming!" Soobin tried to say as he was washing out his mouth. The boy was determined to be on time today, but there wasn't really a day he wasn't early.

The brown haired boy swiftly saved himself from tripping on the last step of the stairs. He walked into the kitchen to find his mother cooking not one, not two, but THREE of those delicious chocolate chip waffles. Soobin almost squealed when he saw them, because she only made them on special days. "tHANK YOU!!!!" He happily shouted with joy. His mother smiled at him and made with her hand a sign to say 'come here '. Soobin slowly walked to her and his mom gave him a huge hug. It was an awkward hug, though, with him being really tall and his mom being way shorter than him. When they finally backed away from each other, he realized his mom had tears glistening in her eyes.

"Oh look at my baby yellow duckie, all grown up."

Soobin kissed his mother's cheek and whispered "Don't cry. I'll always be here for you." His mother nodded and said "Now go eat, you don't want to be late, do you?" Soobin nodded and got to attacking those scrumptious waffles.

A/N. For the sake of the story, just pretend Yeonjun and Soobin have the same birthdays.

Okie, bye :)
