*fast forward to 3 weeks after Yeonjun got discharged from the hospital*
Soobin bit his lip in frustration. Something went very wrong those past few weeks. He thought they might've grown apart. Ever since Yeonjun's accident, Yeonjun and Soobin didn't show that much affection towards each other anymore. They barely exchanged words anymore. It felt strange.
He decided that he should confront Yeonjun about it.
"We need to talk." Soobin said quietly.
His mom was out running errands.
It was just Soobin and Yeonjun in the house.
"About what?" Yeonjun asked.
"Us."
Yeonjun looked a tad uncomfortable. That broke Soobin's heart.
"Okay.. shouldn't we just take a break though? From each other?" This hurt Soobin too much. "Sure." he said in a shaky voice. "I'll just stay with Beomgyu, he won't mind." Soobin just nodded and slowly walked to his room. He threw himself on his bed and sobbed his heart out when he heard the front door close. He hated life.
