Camryn's P.O.V.

I was about to walk away from Niall, when I started to laugh.

"what? what did I do?" he said confusion evident all over his face

"we just quoted one of my most favorite books" I said with a huge smile on my face

"which book?" he said smiling as well

"The Fault in Our Stars!" we both said smiling then we burst out laughing.

After school I walked towards the lake that is on the other side of campus.

I sat down just staring at the beauty of the lake. I took out my sketchbook once again and began to draw the lake. I wish I could stay in this moment forever, and not have to continuously worry about the people that killed my parents, and worry about how my brother is doing, and if I will ever get to escape from the day that I will never forget.

My phone began to ring, it was the ringtone I had set for when Ally called.

"hey Ally, what's up?" I said putting down my pencil and sitting criss cross apple sauce.

"hey Cam, nothings new, where are you?"

"im by the lake" I said

"oh cool, ill pass by"

"kay see you soon" After I hung up I decided to not finish my drawing just yet.

I layed on the grass, my head resting on my bookbag.When suddenly something blocked the sun "boo!" I heard Ally say
"shit you scared me" I said holding my heart, "that was the point" she said laughing

"I like your outfit" I said noticing her sort of goth outfit

"same goes for you" she says

She sits down next to me and pulls my sketchbook from my bag, "am I allowed to look inside today?" she asks, knowing that sometimes I draw very cool things but also things very close to me.

"yeah sure, thats a new sketchbook, it only has like three or four drawings" I said pulling out my phone.

We sat in silence for a while till she gasped

"what?" I said

"who is this guy and why have you not told me about him?" she said showing me the page, it appears I had drawn Mr. Green Eyes.

"oh him, yeah I got really pissed off at him, because he said somethings that caused me to nearly have an anger attack, so after I took my pills, I started to draw him"

"wait, did you just say he almost caused you an anger attack?" she said, "yeah, he just reminds me so much of you know who"

"but I did meet this guy named Niall, he is blonde, with the most amazing blue eyes and ughhhh his accent is just perfect" I said staring towards the water

"so do you like him?" she said getting excited

"nope, I just want us to be friends, strictly, platonically friends"
