Chapter 1: my eyes fell on you.

It was the beginning of April. The month of surprises. A lot of random things happened in this month. Jihyo was again expecting for a different experience. What could happen in this month? Her circled thoughts in her mind stopped as her friends called her name, "Jihyo we have an amazing news!" as Jihyo predicted, it was now happening. The craze of Nayeon and Tzuyu was unstoppable. What could happen this time?

"A company is looking for models for their product!" Nayeon shouted and screamed and Tzuyu did the same. Jihyo looked like she isn't interested and smiled for them. "What is that look? Where's your gummy smile for us?" Tzuyu pouted. "I know you're gonna pass because your beauty is shining bright, unlike I, can't be" She was very supportive for her friends, but she's not believing in herself...Jihyo always thought that she is very ugly only that smile of hers finds it most attractive.

"What is our mom talking about? Jihyo your tanned skin shine the most, you have body goals and abs including curves! And your brea...yeah! See your pretty" Nayeon tried to cheer her up by complimenting Jihyo. Tzuyu agreed in every single word Nayeon blabbered to see that she is stating a fact. They don't want her passion and self-esteem low down. Jihyo appreciated Nayeon, so she finally gave up saying she is like a god. Nayeon made her a nickname, 'God Jihyo'. Because her voice, charisma, beauty, kind heart represents her one and Jihyo can't deny that.

"So when is the audition?" They clearly sensed that Jihyo was trying to change the topic, but whatever they answered her anyways. "Today! Don't get surprised, we just saw the flyer pasted at the walls and saw it was today. What are we waiting for? Let's go"

At the audition

"I'm nervous..." Tzuyu confessed so did Jihyo. Nayeon wasn't nervous at all because she is used to these kinds of situations. She auditioned alot back at highschool, so she experienced being in a situation like this. Nayeon, of course was the person to calm them down. "Don't think too much. Be yourself to whoever the interviewer is, he has no right to judge us, besides he or she might be more ugly" Tzuyu and Jihyo chuckled at Nayeon's insult for the interviewer.

It was now Tzuyu's turn. They wished her good luck and hope they can all pass. Nayeon and Tzuyu were done, now it's Jihyo's turn. She listened to Nayeon's advice and it made her confidence grow more. She entered the room, and her eyes fell straight to the interviewer. She decided to stay silent and waited for the interviewer to speak.

"Good Afternoon I'm Kang Daniel, son of the CEO. Take a seat" Kang Daniel. His name echoed between Jihyo's ears while she sat down. "Ah, My name is Park Jihyo!" she straight forward beamed her gummy smile, that can make anyone weak. Jihyo's unexpected action startled Daniel. Her smile made his heart warm. All the other applicants sweetly smiled on his face without showing their whole teeth up, Nayeon only showed her bunny teeth, which kinda made Daniel smile too. But he couldn't resist smiling right in front of Jihyo showing he is weak from the smile effect. Daniel is good at hiding his inner feelings, so Jihyo didn't notice it.

"Your 23? Your face looks very young..." Daniel whispered the last part which Jihyo didn't hear by any chance, so she nodded. "How would you describe yourself?" Daniel shouldn't have asked that to Jihyo. Her bright personality can kill Daniel right away. "Caring, Kind, Always hear out people when they need help, in short, supportive" Jihyo smiled and Daniel just left a cold face ignoring her bright smile. "Relationship status? I am only asking because I want to check if there are some you know' that needs your time" Jihyo froze, not moving any part of her body.

But Jihyo began speaking to avoid a weird first impression. "Still single...but if I ever have one, I promise that it will not affect my career as a model" Jihyo showed Daniel that nothing will disturb her, or is she even sure about that? Is it a lie or the unfolded truth? "Okay, so last question. Are you sure that you can pass the sign up?" Jihyo already has an answer to that question but still not yet sure. It's not like she has high hopes, but she is right and positively sure she'll pass by the help of her friends' advice.
