It's official. Yesterday all of us went to the adoption agency and they pulled up Dior's and Melody's information and we are now legally their parents.

"Wake up baby face it's your first day at school" I cooed shaking Melody lightly as she sat up and rubbed her eyes looking at me sleepily.

"But mommyy" she whined reaching her arms out for me to pick her up as I did and walked to the bathroom connected to her room.I don't care she might be eight but she's still my baby and I'm going to show her the proper love she deserves.

"Come on baby" I said running her some bath water while she sat on the counter brushing her teeth.

"Mommy I'm done" she said smiling.

"Breath check" I said walking over to the counter as she let out a big blow.

"Hmmm minty" I said tickling her while she laughed.

"Let's get you in the tub mamacita and get this day started" I said while she took her clothes off and got in the tub.

"Dior I'm not finna play with yo lil ass put yo arm through the shirt" Chris said. These two have been at it all morning because Chris ate her candy and now she's refusing to get dressed for him.

"You're not even dressed" she pouted as I chuckled.

"I am dressed" he argued.

"No you're not" she stated.

"Man come on you making this difficult. Please for the best dad in the world" he begged.

"Ahhh....no" she said dramatically falling back on the bed as they both sighed and I laughed.

"Come on baby let's get you dressed" I said as she nodded and let me helped her get dress.

"Hardheaded ass" Chris mumbled as we both laughed at him.

"Momma I'm hungry" she said.

"Come on we can get something from McDonald's on the way to Auntie Zamoria's house" I said as she nodded and went to grab her backpack.

"LETS GO BEFORE I LEAVE YALL ASSES" Chris yelled.

"WE COMING. SHUT UP!" I yelled back as we walked down the stairs.

"Daddy you mad at me" Dior asked innocently looking at him with puppy eyes.

"Nah babygirl Ian mad. Just know next time you don't cooperate me and you gone throw hands" he said as they did their handshake they made up last night while I chuckled.

"Say it and ima beat both of y'all asses" I said turning it off as they pouted.

"Don't mommyyyyy me you know you can't curse you tried it hunny bunch" Zamoria said as she chuckled kissing the top of her forehead.

"NOT IT" Melody and I said at the same time as Zamoria groaned.

"Damnit" she huffed while walking down the stairs.
