Chaeyoung swore that she could hear a pin drop. The room was dead silent. Nobody dared to move, nor speak.
It was Chaeyoung who first disturbed the silence.
“So umm… hey.” She said awkwardly.
“Hey…” Lisa mumbled weakly. For some reason, the chipmunk looking at the girl in front of her made her feel funny.
“I’m sorry.” Chaeyoung suddenly blurted. The room went silent again.
“U-uhh… I mean, I umm… apologize for the kiss last night. It was… just a lie. To get him back off.” Chaeyoung explained further. Lisa could feel a smirk appearing on her face. It somehow satisfied her, seeing Chaeyoung so nervous. Lisa kept silent as she continued to examine the girl in front of her. However, it made Chaeyoung quite self-conscious.
“I-Is there something on my face?” Chaeyoung stuttered. Lisa walked closer to the girl.
“Yes.” Lisa stated. Chaeyoung looked down nervously. “It’s ugly,” Lisa said, ruining the moment. Chaeyoung punched her on the arm with flushed cheeks. Lisa started to laugh at the embarrassed girl.
“Yah ! Why are you so mean to me? I don’t even know your name and you’re acting like my arch nemesis.” Chaeyoung complained.
“I’m Lisa. And your reaction is too funny.” Lisa made fun of Chaeyoung further. “Chipmunk face.” Chaeyoung was infuriated by the insult. She swore that this was not the same, shy, timid Lisa from just seconds earlier.
“You bitch! I hate you already!” Chaeyoung exclaimed.
“I’m the one who should hate you, you stole a kiss from me, my girlfriend.” Lisa teased again.
“Come here you pabo!” Chaeyoung chased Lisa around, somehow, she already felt comfortable with the girl. However, Chaeyoung quickly tripped over her own feet, landing herself on the cold hard ground. She groaned in pain.
Lisa quickly stops on her tracks. When she turned her head, her smug face soon turned to a worried one. She frantically made her way to Chaeyoung.
“Are you okay?” She asked gently. Chaeyoung winced in pain when Lisa touched her thigh,
“Do I look okay?! You dumbass.” Chaeyoung yelled. Lisa, instead of getting mad, flashed Chaeyoung a small smile. For some odd reason, she found Chaeyoung cute. But Lisa wasn't going to admit that to the dumb chipmunk in front of her.
Without warning, Lisa carried Chaeyoung in bridal style over to the sofa and gently laid the girl down. Chaeyoung felt her anger dissolve as Lisa caressed her thigh. She had no clue how Lisa managed to give her these extreme mood swings upon only meeting her for one day.
“Stay.” Lisa said in a gentle voice. Lisa herself was completely and utterly confused with her own actions. She had no idea why she felt so affected by Chaeyoung’s fall. Normal Lisa would have just left her there, like any other girl, unless she was hot and sexy like Jennie, which she’s not.
Cheaeyoung felt her heart melt when Lisa came back minutes later with a boiled egg.
“It will get rid of the bruise.” Lisa said simply while handing over the egg. For some reason, Chaeyoung felt disappointed that Lisa didn’t tend to her needs by getting rid of the bruise for her.
“Can you do it for me?” Chaeyoung asked with a pout. Lisa looked at her in disbelief.
“No. You’re 22. Do it yourself you idiot.” Lisa said before grabbing her stuff and making her way into the room. Chaeyoung glared at the younger girl’s back. There she was. Lisa back in her natural state. Aish
Chaeyoung sat on her bed while scrolling through her phone. She was starting to get bored of this nighttime routine. She really wishes that she had a boyfriend to cuddle with at this moment.
Chaeyoung’s thoughts were interrupted when she saw Lisa walk into the room. Her hair was wet from just showering and she had a simple white oversized T-shirt with rolled sleeves, along with black sweatpants. Chaeyoung wondered why she felt her cheeks heat up. Not a boyfriend, but…
“Lisa, come cuddle with me.” Chaeyoung ordered. Lisa looked at the girl with an ‘Are you serious’ face. Chaeyoung pouted while looking shyly at Lisa.
Lisa tried to hide how Chaeyoung’s pout was DEEPLY affecting her. “Hug a pillow or something. I’m busy.” Lisa said while quickly turning the lights off. She didn’t want Chaeyoung to see her flushed cheeks. Lisa got into her bed at lightning speed and pretended to be asleep.
“Lisa…” she heard Chaeyoung mumble softly. Lisa ignored how Chaeyoung’s voice made her want to run over and comfort the girl.
“Lisa… I’m cold…” Chaeyoung said while shivering.
Lisa bit her lip. Just ignore it. Pretend to be asleep. It’s okay that she’s cold. It’s none of your business. She deserves it. She stole your first kiss that should’ve been with a hot girl. Like Jennie.
Wow. If teenage Lisa met me now, she would not believe how gay I’m being. Is this even Lisa Manoban?
Lisa heard Chaeyoung's blanket moving, and she couldn't help but finally turn around. Lisa witnessed Chaeyoung fully wrapped in her blanket, eyes closed as she trembled from the cold.
She sighed as she made her way over to Chaeyoung. She climbed into the bed and wrapped her arms around the older girl's waist. She felt Chaeyoung freeze. Holy shit...
THIS IS WHY SHE'S FUCKING COLD!!! SHE'S ONLY WEARING HER BRA AND UNDERWEAR!!! IS SHE MENTAL!!? WHAT IS SHE DOING WEARING THIS IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER!!?
Lisa realized that she had only met Chaeyoung a day ago, so she retreated her hands, only to have them placed back around Chaeyoung's waist, by Chaeyoung herself. Lisa couldn't stop the mad blush from creeping onto her face.
“By the way… I still hate you.” She heard Chaeyoung mumble. Lisa smiled.
“I hate you too, chipmunk face."
