"U-Umm...Jennie unnie, I'll go grab you a hoodie, wait here." Lisa stuttered before quickly getting up. She almost trips over her own feet but manages to make her way into their room.
Jennie sighed before glaring at Chaeyoung. She's aware that it was probably uncomfortable for Chaeyoung, but she could've just left and minded her own business. What confused Jennie more was the fact that Chaeyoung was drilling holes into her skull with her intense gaze.
Why was Chaeyoung acting like a jealous girlfriend?
Their staring— more like glaring contest was interrupted by an awkward cough. The two jealous girls averted their eyes elsewhere.
"Umm... her unnie, for you." Lisa said shyly while handing over the hoodie. Jennie blushed as Lisa's eyes trailed down her toned body timidly. Chaeyoung clicked her tongue, clearly unamused.
Jennie quickly put on the hoodie. She smiled as Lisa's sweet pheromones took over her senses, sending jolts of excitement through her veins. Jennie felt high on the intoxicating scent. She bit her lip to suppress the smile that was forming on her face.
Chaeyoung didn't want to admit it, but Jennie is really an attractive girl. She didn't like the new "competition". Lisa is hers.
"Y-you look cute..." Lisa mumbled softly with an angelic smile that drove the other two girls nuts. Jennie felt her cheeks burning at the compliment. Flustered, she pulled the hood over her face to cover the blushing mess that Lisa had caused.
"I guess she just says that to everyone..." Chaeyoung whispered bitterly. She thought that she was special to Lisa. She thought that she was the only one that Lisa would give her hoodie to. She thought that she was the only one Lisa would call cute.
"Lisa, you—" Chaeyoung was cut off by the buzzing of her phone and the specially designed ringtone for that special someone.
But I can't help falling in love with you~
The room was awfully quiet. Chaeyoung took out her phone awkwardly and answered the call.
"H-hey babe..."
"Yeah."
"Sure. In 20? Sounds good."
"Bye, love you too."
Chaeyoung hung up the call and the other two girls were staring at her wordlessly. Jennie seemed to be analyzing her, and Lisa... Chaeyoung couldn't read her.
"So... I'm guessing another date?" Lisa asked coldly. Chaeyoung gulped.
"Yeah..."
Lisa chuckled softly. "Of course, I knew it wasn't going to happen."
Chaeyoung furrowed her brows.
"I saw it coming, I knew you weren't going to play with me. You hate video games. No, you hate being around me." Lisa said, her face mixed with emotions.
"What?! Lisa, it's not like that. I swear, it's just that—"
"It's fine Chaeng. I'm used to it anyways."
Jennie could sense that Chaeyoung was making Lisa upset. The thick tension engulfed the living room and Jennie didn't like that at all.
"Lisa let's go. She can go on her date and we can go out tonight." Jennie suggested. Lisa took one last glance at Chaeyoung. 'No...' Chaeyoung mouthed. The younger girl bit her lips before shifting her gaze back to Jennie.
"Sure. Let's go."
——————————
Chaeyoung sighed for the millionth time before burying her face into her palms. She didn't go on the date. She told Jisoo that she was drowning in work, and of course, being the perfect girlfriend that Jisoo is, she understood immediately and told the girl to take it easy.
