“Chae…" 

Lisa felt her heart clench.

Chaeng was there, making out with Jisoo. Her arm was wrapped around her neck as Chaeyoung wrapped her arms around Jisoo’s waist. Even from this distance, Lisa could see that Chaeyoung was moaning, clearly enjoying her time.

"She lied to me... Jisoo is still here. She's not gone...

...Fucking liar.”

"I'm home," Chaeyoung yelled as she took off her shoes. Her brows furrow when she sees Lisa sleeping on a couch. The table had a four coursed meal laid out on top of it. She bit her lip guiltily. Does Lisa always wait for her like this?

"Oh. You're here." Lisa said while rubbing her eyes. 

"Yeah, I was just..." Chaeyoung took a deep breath in. She still hasn't told Lisa about... it. 'It's okay. You can do this Chaeng.' She thought before re-composing herself. "I was on a date." She said nervously. Lisa had no expression on her face.

“I know.”

Lisa sat there, staring at the wall blankly. ‘What did she do to make you like her so much? All she had to do was walk out of a fucking car. But for me, no. I could give you everything and you still wouldn’t give a shit.’

‘But I know. I started at a disadvantage. I dug my own grave. Falling for the wrong girl? I’m the biggest fool.’

Lisa got up and picked up the bowl of Tteokbokki. She was about to throw it away. But…

‘What if Chaeng hasn’t eaten yet? They were kissing… she might be hungry.’ Lisa felt numb. She placed the bowl down and made her way back to the couch. She felt exhausted. Both physically and mentally.

“I know.”

Chaeyoung brows furrowed. “Huh?”

“I went to look for you. I was worried about you.” Lisa said with a loving smile. Chaeyoung notices how dark the girl’s eye bags were. “Lisa… have you been sleeping enough?” She asked worriedly.

“It’s okay Chaeng. You don’t need to act like you care.” Chaeyoung felt her heart clench at Lisa’s comment. She does care. Chaeyoung couldn’t believe what Lisa thought of her.

“Lisa I—“

“I’ll go get the door,” Lisa said lifelessly. But before Lisa could even move, the door busted open.

“Babe, you forgot your purse in my car,” Jisoo said as she walked in, but her eyes widened when she saw Lisa. ‘Babe? And she has our apartment keys? What are they, married?” Lisa rolled her eyes.

“You two live together?” Jisoo asked with raised brows. Chaeyoung bit her lip at the awkward atmosphere.

“Uhh… Lisa, this is my girlfriend Jisoo. Jisoo, this is my roommate Lisa.” Chaeyoung said with a small smile. Lisa faked a smile as she felt her heart bleed with Chaeng’s comment. ‘Roommate.’ That’s all she’ll ever be to her. Nothing more. Nothing less.

“So you two are dating?” Lisa asked, pretending to be interested in Jisoo.

“Yup. I’m so lucky.” She said with a stupidly big smile plastered on her face. “You have no idea…” Lisa mumbled. She has everything that Lisa wants. She has Chae.
