Brick's POV
"Boomer!" I yelled out as I watched my brother pass out on the floor. Bubble's gaze locked onto mine with an ominous grin plastered on her face.

Managed to get away from Blossom's grasp and Bubble's laser eyes. I threw myself and rolled to the other side of the room.

Butch still going hard at it with Buttercup.

I don't even know where they are. Last I had vision of both of them was when Butch smashed Buttercup into a glass cabinet.

Frantically looking around while trying to compose myself and thinking of a way to handle the situation. Blossom and Bubbles slowly walked towards me exchanging grins and glances at each other.

"I really don't want to hurt you, Brick." Blossom pouted but the way she carried my name was sharp. Tone I've only head from Butch or Boomer. From myself.

Something was off about the whole situation. Obviously, but who was behind this? Who could possibly get ahold on the girls so easily. But I don't even know if who ever did this had it easy to begin with.

I'm surprised they succeeded and got into the girls' head pretty deep.

"What are we gonna do Blossom?" Bubbles hopped, her giddy tone echoed throughout the whole place.

"We could make it quick since we do have somewhere we should be."

Bubbles looked at her sister with a dissatisfied look. "That's no fun! We still have time! Let's make it slow for both of them!" She glanced at Boomer's unconscious body sprawled out in the shattered glass and concrete.

"Girls, I don't know WHAT has happened to you but why are you doing this? Who's behind this? Why did y'all disappear??" I was desperate for answers. I hate to admit it but it was true. These aren't the Powerpuff Girls I remember. This is a nightmare.

They both stared at me and laughed manically. "Look at you TRYING to act like a hero!" Bubbles flipped her hair.

Blossom scoffed and gave me a dirty look. "See now Brick, this town doesn't deserve heros. They don't understand our kind."

"What are you on about?"

Before I could pick up myself to meet their eye level, Blossom had me pinned up against the wall. I was practically part of the wall now.

"This town is full of itself and they are ignorant. They can't handle the thought of someone different being more than them. If we go over line, we get shunned." Blossom said with so much hatred and pain in her voice.

Bubbles creeped up behind her, her eyes glowing bright. "I think he's heard enough. May I?" She grinned.

Panicking, I yelled "Wait! I don't understand! This town loved you guys!"

"THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO THINK. THEIR TRUE COLOURS HAS YET TO SHOW." Blossom shrieked. "Bubbles, you have the pleasure."

"Pleasures all mine."

I closed my eyes and prepare for what's to come. Which in this case my face getting burned off like candle wax.

I can already feel the heat intensifying as Bubbles heats up her lazer eyes.

I heard a groan and glanced to my left, Blossom poking Boomer with her heel. "I think you actually killed him, Bubbles. I'm impressed." Her face cold as death.

Just as Bubbles began to shot, something came crushing through the roof colliding with Blossom.

Bubbles' laser zapped through my hat and away as she turned to face the current disturbance.

Confused, I saw Buttercup groaning as she tried to get up.

"Buttercup! What the hell?" Bubbles shrieked.

I managed to crawl away behind a flipped damaged couch. Recollecting all my energy, I was ready to pounce. But before I was able to do so, something caught my eye.

The maroon book Blossom was flipping through.

I scurried to grab it before anyone else saw it. I hid it in my jacket pocket. And sighed.

I need to get out of here and get my brothers out to safety. But how? I can't carry Boomer myself because of how beat up I was and I have no idea where the hell Butch is.

The girls began to dust themselves off. All of them giving deadly looks. Obviously we pissed them off to the point of exterminating us wouldn't be a problem to them.

If I were to get out of here in once piece with my brothers. I need to do something now.

Not wasting anymore time, I pounced at Bubbles first, knocking her to the floor with all the force I could get.

Blossom quickly acted on this and kicked me against the same wall I was once part of.

I groaned and cursed at myself for being so weak.

"C'mon Brick. You used to be able to throw her with one arm! Get yourself together!" I told myself.

Just as Blossom was gonna fly at me, Butch came bursting through the floor. Sending Blossom flying and crashing on the second floor.

"Brick get Boomer! Let me handle them while both of you get out of here!" He screamed as he tries to keep Buttercup down.

I fell to my knees trying my best to stand up. But my legs felt so numb and sore. My arm is weak and my vision is blurry.

I was almost at Boomer's side when something pulled me to the second floor and sent me crashing into a wardrobe.

"Blossom please-" I wheezed. My breathe short and chest pounding. "Don't do this."

She didn't even react. Her gazed locked and ready for the kill. She walked towards me but stopped in her tracks when she stepped on something.

I couldn't see what it was at first but when I looked up at her, her gazed soften. Her face fell into a frown. I thought it was my vision but there were tears forming in her eyes.

I looked back down and realized it was the picture frame. The one Boomer found earlier.

"Blossom?" I whispered and I regretted.

She snapped out of the trance and kicked the frame away.

Good thing for me, I blasted her across the room with my lazer eyes. I was about to launch at her when I heard Bubbles call out.

"Blossom let's go! We have everything we need!"

Blossom gave me one last smirk and blasted to the sky.

I looked up and saw all three of them left in unison.

Left there confused and in pain. I hurried downstairs when I realized my brothers weren't with me.

Butch crashed into me and sighed in relief.

"Bro you're okay!" I exclaimed.

"We need to leave now." Butch said with the most serious tone I've ever heard from him.

We went to the place where Boomer was unconscious but to our horror, he wasn't there.

"No no no! This can't be happening!" I clenched my fist and paced around that room.

Butch looked at me dead in the eyes. "Where the hell is he?"

Both knowing the answer to that but too horrified to actually say it. We only thought it. The expressions on our face was clear enough.

They took him.
