Butch's POV
"Don't just stay there and help me!" Brick yelled, no, he growled at me.

Talk about bipolar. He never bothers telling me things. Especially when he's thinking. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't think I'm smart enough to understand him.

I don't even know what I'm supposed to help him with! He's just feeling the statue all over and it looks hella weird.

"Are you going to help me look or what?" He growled once more. His eyes glowing red this time.

I gave him a shrug and walk over to him. "What am I supposed to be looking out for?" I puffed some smoke into his face.

"A secret doorway! Or a button!"

Ugh. I told him this isn't like that Minecraft game he's so obsessed with. I was about to comment but my cigarette flew out of my hand after getting blasted off by red laser beams.

"Fine!"

I began to feel, I'm sorry, I meant touch the statue all over to feel anything.

Then my fingers felt something around Bubbles' ankle. I called Brick over and he immediately press whatever it is.

And what do you know, a tree to the far right of the statue opened up.

Brick laughed. Obviously feeling proud of himself. "I told you! You kept saying it was bullshit but LOOK."

"Yeah, yeah. But I was the one that mentioned the secret button and I was the one that found it."

Brick ignored me. It wasn't the first. Walking up to the tree doorway thing, I then realized.

"Brick, wait." My hand grabbed his shoulder forcing him to stop. He turned around a looked at me, confused. "This was where I saw Blossom. Like, the first time I saw her."

Brick's body tensed up. I felt a tiny shiver from him. "Then I guess we're going the right way."

~~~~~~~~
The tree didn't fit both of us. I had Brick go first then I followed behind. It was like a high tech elevator. Felt like I was in those sci-fi movies.
I wonder if there's another way into where ever this place is or if the girls had to put Boomer in there alone and send him down.
Brick asked me how did we never see anything unusual around these parts but to be fair, these trees were covered with thick bushes. Plus who would think there would be anything suspicious with trees?
What I want to know is, did the citizens know about this place. Did the Mayor know? Did the citizens build that secret button?
Walking only for 10 minutes from the elevator, this place is obviously just underground sewers. The only thing unusual was the only high tech treelevator.
Brick led us through the sewers with his nonfictional app and his memory.
He insists that its because of the signal and shit.
"If you said Boomer was right under us when we were under the statue then shouldn't we try to find our way there?" I whispered as I covered my nose with my shirt because it stinks down here.
"Yes. That's exactly what I'm doing." Brick started to walk faster and leave me behind like he always does.
After a few minutes more of walking, I bumped into Brick because he stepped on the brakes.
"Butch look!" He shook me and pointed at a set of doors.
"Well, what are we waiting for?"
It was too late for Brick because I already blasted the door open.
Broken wood pieces scattered across the room along with a cloud of dust.
Swiping the air to get rid of the dust, my vision cleared and the first thing I see are 3 beds. Dirty and ugly.
The middle of the room was a large pillar and a round table with two chairs in front of it. One of it looked like it was pushed over. Newspapers were scattered all over the table and on the ground. Some crumpled into balls and some soaking wet.
I thought I was messy but God. This was on another level.
Brick must be losing his shit right now. And I was right. I looked over at him and he's holding in a gag. His eyes filled with disgust.
How'd he even manage to walk through the sewers anyways.
"Where could he be?" I walked towards one of the beds cautiously. Trying to figure out who could've done this to the girls or did they live like this willingly.
Not only does this place look messy. It STINKS!
"AAARRRGGGHHH!!!"
What the fuck was that?!
Brick and I shot each other a knowing look and scanned every corner of the place.
That scream definitely belonged to Boomer. And by the sound of it, it doesn't sound good. It made my stomach turn.
"Psst!" Brick called out and pointed towards another tunnel behind the pillar. I followed him as we quietly make our way down.
We floated the whole way to avoid any footsteps. Though, I begin to regret blasting the door because I'm pretty sure even Boomer could hear that.
A chill went down my spine, the deeper we get the colder our surroundings are. Almost as if we were on the moon.
I felt another chill. This time from the sound of laughter. The sound of enjoyment.
And the sound of torture from our brother.
Brick flinched and grimaced when we heard another blood curdling scream from Boomer echoing through the tunnel.
The laughs grew louder and as we turned a corner right, we saw a steel door. There were heavy locks on them and several more complicated locks.
Its currently all unlocked because the girls are in there.
Ah fuck, what the hell do we do now? I didn't expect the situation to be this bad.
Not going to even lie to myself. I'm scared shitless and I do not want to face what they've got going on in there.
Brick motioned at me to kick the door down but I, with my clear facial expressions, declined.
He mouthed back, "WE ARE WASTING TIME!"
Shit. He's using what I was using on him back on me.
I let out a sigh. I have never prayed before but this seems like a good time to start.
I took a few steps back and before I knew it my body was already flying fast at the door. I braced myself for impact and.
CRASH!
I coughed and felt someone pull me back. It was Brick. As soon as the cloud of dust cleared, the sight I saw was worse than anything I've ever seen.
I may have barfed in my mouth a little...
Oh God, Boomer. What have they done to you.
