Butch's POV
"BOOMER! HIT HIM BY THE NECK!" I yelled to Boomer as I threw a 15 foot lizard-like monster at him. Boomer did as I said and he proceeded to continuously punch the daylight out of it.

It's honestly too early for this. Why would anyone or anything decide to attack the town at 8 o'clock in the morning. Staying up till 6AM didn't help me in this situation either. My vision was getting cloudy.

After Brick threw his last punch the monster laid still on the ground. After it regained consciousness, it got up and ran away back into the sea. Brick and Boomer flew towards each other to celebrate yet another victory. I was just about to join them but from the corner of my eye, I saw something moving from behind the trees.

I turned my head immediately to hopefully catch more than a glimpse of it. Thankfully I did get what I asked for. My eyes widen in shock and disbelief. "That can't be..." I whispered to myself. There was no doubting that bright red hair and pink eyes. Those pink eyes staring intently at us. As soon as she realized that I was looking at her, she blasted off in almost a second. Her red hair flowing behind her like fire.

"Earth to Butch?" Brick called out to me. I still couldn't shake that image out of my mind. "Ya alright bro? You look like you've seen Mojo Jojo naked." Brick laughed as Boomer joined in on the laughter. I must have really look pale because this time Boomer had to smack me on my head.

"Hey! What was that for?" I yelled.

"That's for ignoring us." Boomer crossed his arms showing no signs for apologizing. "Why were you staring at those trees? Have you fallen in love with one of them?" Brick snickered.

I glared at him and took them both by the collars of their shirt drag them with me as I flew all of us back to our home. At the moment their screams were music to my ears but then it got annoying.

I slammed them onto the couch as soon as we went through the window. They both groaned and glared at me. Red and blue eyes on mine. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Brick growled.

I paced the floor in front of them, my hands connected together in a finger gun position placed on my lip. I took a deep breath and sighed before looking back at their glares. "I think... I think I saw one of the Powerpuff."

Both of them dropped their glares, faces changed to disbelief. "You may think I'm lying but for the first time I'm not." I said, "It was the red head. Those pink eyes can't be compared to anyone else's." I continued. Brick and Boomer stayed quiet as I continued on.

Finally Brink spoke, "She didn't say anything to you at all? She just took off... just like that?" I nodded. "Just like a fireball falling in reverse." Brick sighed, "This doesn't make any sense. Why don't they want to come back? Why are they lurking around?"

"Almost feels like they're stalking us." I joked. "But the girls adored this town and would've done anything for it." Boomer stated clearly with a confused look on his face. I can't blame them, I'm confused too. So many questions, no answers.

"The red head did look different though." I said.

Brick and Boomer looked up at me, eyebrows rose. "Different how?" Brick asked.

"She still has her hair tied up and her dumb bow was still there but there was just something different about her. It was her eyes, they didn't look like the eyes of the brat we knew before." I explained.

Brick fixed his cap, "Do you mean the prideful, cheerful and brave eyes?"

I nodded. "If something did happen to them that led them to leaving and change them like that then it couldn't be good." I know that look in eyes. It's all too familiar to me. I know because... I've caused a few people to look that way.

"I think we should look for the professor now." Boomer said. Both Brick and I looked concerned at each other. "Don't you think we should at least find out why they left." Boomer continued.

Brick sighed, "He has a point. If we can't find out why they won't come back, the least we can do is find out why they left."

I nodded in agreement. After a little bit more of discussions, we left for the Utonium household.
