Tell me who I am,
Put a label on me.
Speak out the truth about my soul
And set me entirely free.

You are my centre,
I just orbit around.
Your gravity keeps me
In colour and sound.

Without your weight,
I would be lost.
I need to hold on,
Until I exhaust.

I am defined,
By the extent of your empathy.
I need you to dictate,
to point out,
To just guide me.

"You're show was just amazing. I don't know what to say ... Michael, right?"

"It's Mike."

The host, Mr Langsey, escorted Mike to the bar and showered him in praises.

"You're going to be huge. I can feel it in my balls. Do you have an LP ready?"

"Unfortunately, we're just having the demo right now."

"Shoot, I could've played you on the radio first thing tomorrow."

Mike bit his ass for missing such an opportunity. To his relieve, Dom suddenly passed by, grabbed Mr. Langsey's arm and pulled him away.

"Please talk business with me. I don't want my artists to be distracted. What can I do for you?"

"Well, I was just saying that, if you had an LP right now, or a single for that matter, I would be glad to get a song on the radio first thing tomorrow."

"Unfortunately, the work on the album is not yet completed. But we will return to the studio after we've got a wrap on the tour. I'll send you an exclusive prior to the release."

Mike stuck around the corner and listened to Dom feeding lies to the host. He was fucking angry and his eyes searched for James. When he found him packing up at the stage, he interrupted his work.

"Did you know, that the host was a radio promoter?"

"I didn't!"

James reached for the cymbal stand next to him, but Mike got into his way.

"He was willing to put us on the radio, but unfortunately, we don't have an LP ready yet!"

James tried to work around Mike.

"And who's fault is that?"

"It's not about faults, James. It's about missed opportunities!"

"There will be more opportunities to come."

James grabbed a drum case and headed towards the stairs. Mike made him stop.

"Are you mad at me?"

"No! But I am the only one, who has to move tons of equipment all the time and nobody is really helping me."

"Oh. I didn't realise, I'm sorry."

"Of course not! You're just busy with yourself all the time. Just go get out of the way, okay?"

James pushed through and left the venue. Mike took a look around and randomly grabbed a couple of microphone stands nearby, then he followed James outside.

The party girl gave it another shot and tried to wrap Samuel around her finger in the sofa area.

"Why don't you come with me? My bed is really comfy."

She was pulling all registers, while he still tried to catch a glance on the screen of his phone without her noticing it. But there were no new messages. Sharyl was either already asleep or she was pissed at him. Samuel considered his options and hoped for a moral guide to show him the way. And suddenly a strong hand grabbed his neck and pulled him out of his dilemma.
