I was helping a strange looking sea creature back into the water when I heard a voice call out into the night, "Hey you!" I stood up to look around.

There was a woman running down the beach towards me, "Yeah you! Get your hands off the fish!" She finally caught up to me, panting. "Your gonna hurt it if you do it like that." She pushed me out of the way, "You have to do it like this." She picked up the animal from the underside and walked out into the ocean with it cradled in her arms. It slowly swam out of her arms and back into the wide open water.

Her bottom half was soaking, her pants probably ruined, she handed me a small slip of paper, a card. A businesses card, "Here, don't do that alone, next time, call me."

I flipped over the small card in my hand, (Y/n) (L/n). I looked up back up to her. I huffed, "I can handle myself."

"Sure yeah all my big heroic guys take one marine biology class and think you know everything! News flash you don't!" She sarcastically did jazz hands. She turned away from me, crossing her arms and walking away. It was midnight, not the best time for a lady to be walking alone. I sighed rolling my eyes. I caught up to her quickly, She growled, "What?"

I lit a cigarette, "It's too late for somebody like you to be walking around, and your dripping wet."

"Are you calling me weak?" She asked, rubbing up and down her upper arms.

I took off my coat placing it on her shoulders, "No, you just don't know what people are capable of."

The moon shown giving us some light as we walked on the barren streets. Streetlamps buzzed to fill the quiet we shared. After a while she finally broke the silence, "So, What were you doing at the beach at midnight?"

"I could ask you the same thing," I looked back down to her shorter form.

She looked up to me, making eye contact, "You really wanta know?"

"Not particularly," I quipped.

"Ha ha," She rolled her eyes, then she went quiet, "Something  was off tonight, so I went the beach to calm down. I like the sound of the waves and the way the moon reflects off the water."

I raised an eyebrow, "What was so off?"

"I don't know, I'll decide if you tell me your side," she smirked back at me.

"Slyer than a dog," She laughed at my statement, "I couldn't sleep." I lied, the memories of egypt truly plagued my mind.

"Maybe it was fate then," She smiled. We walked up to a small little house, a surfboard leaning against the outside, "Fate works in mysterious ways." She walked up the little stairs up to the wooden door, she turned back to me, "Well this is my stop, thank you for walking me home," Another set of quiet moments pasted, "I hope you sleep well." She disappeared into her house. As I walked away I only then remembered that she still had my jacket on.  I put out my cigarette and smiled.

I woke up, the sun through my curtains and the smell of breakfast washing over me. I yawned and stretched over my head. I looked to my clock on the wall that showed it was 8 am. I walked downstairs. My dad's music playing out of the record player. My dad looked up from the newspaper, "Oh sorry sweetheart did my music wake you up?"

I waved him off, heading to the laundry room, "No, wasn't a problem, I woke up soundly." I found my way to the dryer pulling out the big black coat with the name 'Jotaro Kujo' written on the tag. It was a little sandy when I got a hold of it so I decided to wash it for him. I picked up the chain that was detached from the collar currently and slowly reattaching it. I had to fiddle around with the fabric a bit, but overall not a problem. I slung it under my arm and headed to the breakfast table. My mom and dad already eating the eggs and hashbrowns.
