Sam, Sakura, and the Queen

Sam and Sakura stared at his mother after exchanging shocked looks. Sakura narrowed her eyes at Sam's mother though she did remain respectful, "Excuse me my Queen, what did you just say?" Her brain was seriously struggling to place some category or label on what she had said. It was wrong but one of her first thoughts had been 'and who is going to wear the pants'. It was wrong but so was what Sam's mother said.

Hanma couldn't help but giggle at Sakura's thoughts though she managed to control it fairly quickly. She still received a few curious looks from the others in the room. With a shrug, she simply smiled, "Sakura is in shock still and her thoughts are somewhat... Disorganized."

Sam snorted, "I don't blame her but I think I have her trumped on that. I am still trying to process the boy/girl marrying the girl aspect." He covered his face and groaned, "The worst part is I look only about a year older than my little sister in this form." When Jewel snickered at him he growled at her, "Mom what did I ever do to you that you did this to me?"

His mother settled down next to him and wrapped an arm around him. Even when he stiffened up she kept the arm around her, "Well I could say pregnancy, labor, and childbirth. Stretch marks would be up there if I wasn't the queen of a magical land." She pulled her braid around and played with the end as she pretended to think, "I could add in mountains of dirty diapers, nursing, waking up at all hours of the day and finally your giggling every time you got me when I changed your diaper."

Sam looked at her and glared, "I was a baby and babies do that sort of thing. It wasn't my fault you and dad did the deed and caused me to happen. When I was old enough to look at my birth certificate and discovered my full name was Samuel Samantha Madison I was horrified." When Sue's lips began to twitch, Sam growled at her, "Rugrats!"

Sakura did snicker at that and was glowered at by Sue though Hanma was smiling slightly, "Sam I am not sure I will ever be able to look at you the same now. Every time you are in this form I am automatically going to think Samantha. Sorry dude but nothing I can do about that."

Sam poked her in the side for that, "Just for that separate beds until we are eighteen. Oh, and I want my leash back." He turned to his mother, "Seriously mom what do you mean by wife? I really like Sakura and will even admit I am falling in love with her. It is all too new for me to feel..." His hand crept over to Sakura's and laced their fingers together, "It scares me in a way since I have never felt this way before and I don't know what to do." His voice had quieted down and sounded confused.

Sakura looked at their hands and gave his hand a good squeeze, "I feel much the same way my Queen. Since mom and dad died, well I assume they were my parents; it hasn't been the best life. It hasn't been horrible but having this type of feelings for Sam scares me as well. When I am around him and he is holding me, I feel so safe."

Queen Jasmine smiled at both of them, "I meant exactly what I said. If everything had worked out the way I had intended, you would have been fixed as a male. You would have encountered Sakura and much like now you would have fallen in love with each other." She stroked his hair as she was talking, "There wouldn't be any magic involved other than the magic of finding the one meant for you. Other than the two of you being destined to meet, ultimately it would be your choice after that." She would talk to Sakura later about how she had ended up in the orphanage.

She reached around Sam and gave Sakura's shoulder a squeeze, "What you both are feeling is very normal even without all the extra interesting bits. Take your time and grow into your relationship. Spend time with each other in both forms since the form does impact on your thought process to an extent. Cuddle with each other and talk, snicker, tickle, and all the other little things that bring two people closer." Just for good measure she frowned at Sam, "And you, young lady need to stop checking out girl bottoms... Boys are okay though..."
