Wuying seemed to have been knocked out. As he was coming to, he tried to look around his surroundings. The room was very dark, but had a door ahead, a single light in the middle, and what seemed to be a window to the side. He slowly got up. His legs were wobbly, but he started regaining his balance. "Where... am I?" He asked. Though there was no response. "Guanting? Ling? Jin? Anyone?" He asked again, with no reply. He walked up to the door, but it was locked.
"Dammit, I have to find them!" Ling said, as he began to run, but Jin stopped him. "Do you even know where they are? You could be falling into a trap!" She said, concerned. But he gently pushed her hand away, and put his hand on his heart. "We have a bond, I'll find them. Somehow. Just watch over Luoyang for me." He took off running. "Tian Ling!" She yelled out, but he was gone. "What a day this has been..." She said, rubbing her head in frustration.
Just then, the door opened to the room, and Guanting ran inside. "Wuying? Are you in here?" Wuying ran up to him and hugged him. "You're safe, oh my God... I was so worried..." Guanting held him close. "It's okay, I'm here now. Let's get out of here..." Wuying nodded, and Guanting held his hand. "Do you know what happened to us?" Wuying thought for a moment. "I just remember being grabbed by that bastard, then everything went black..." Guanting nodded. "I see... It's okay, it's not important now." They approached the door. "Just... one thing?" He asked. Wuying looked at him confused. "Sure? What is it?" Guanting closed his eyes. "Maybe... We should just... Submit to him. Maybe if we do, he'll leave everyone else alone..." Wuying blinked for a moment. "... E-Excuse me?"
"Fen... I'm so sorry... This is all my fault..." Luoyang said, burying his face in Fen's neck. "It's my fault you died... I wasn't strong enough... I..." Fen rubbed Luoyang's back. "Sun Luoyang. It's okay. It's all over now. Please don't beat yourself up anymore, okay?" "B-But... I..." Luoyang said, as he lifted his head up to look at Fen. There was some snot running from his nose. Fen smiled softly and used his sleeve to wipe it away. "I'm here. And from now on, I'm not leaving. So please get a hold of yourself, okay?" Luoyang wiped his tears and nodded. "W-Where... What's going on?" Jin smacked him from the back of his head. "You caused quite a problem, you know. Care to see who's missing?" Luoyang looked around the room. "Wait... No, where are they?" Jin sighed. "Who knows? The Damn Devil Knight abducted Guanting and Wuying, and Ling took off searching for them." Fen stood up, helping Luoyang up as well. "We have to go look for them." Jin pushed them both to the floor. "Both of you are way too weak to be of any help. Just sit there and think. Maybe we can figure out another way to help."
"Wuying!!! Guanting!!! Where are you?!" Ling said, running through the seemingly-endless dark hallways. Ling stopped to catch his breath. "I... I don't know what to do..." He looked around. "I'm probably lost... What if something's wrong?" "Don't give lose hope!" Ling heard in his head. It was a soft, sweet voice. "Who's there?" He asked, continuing to looks around, seeing no one. "They need you, please hurry!" Ling was going to ask who was there again, but it was obvious no one was. "Dammit, I don't have time for this!" He continued to run down the hall.
"Listen, Wuying... Wouldn't our sacrifices be better in the end? To save everyone else?" Guanting said, but Wuying shook his head. "You know damn well he would take us and everyone else. We're the last ones standing in his way. Why are you acting like this?" He said, a bit concerned. "... Wuying, come on." Guanting roughly grabbed Wuying's wrist. "G-Guanting!! What the hell? Let go of me!!" Wuying pulled away, falling to the floor. Guanting let out a sigh. "It's really unfortunate that you couldn't be swayed..." Guanting put his hand behind him, before pulling out a handgun and pointed it at Wuying. "Guanting... What the actual hell?!" Wuying responded, eyes stinging. "What's gotten into you?!" He smirked and loaded the gun.
"Guanting?" Ling said, as he saw the man in a practically pitch-black room. The only way he could be seen was his glowing eyes. He was tied up by his wrists and ankles. His mouth was also taped shut. Ling quickly removed the tape. "Guanting!! What happened?" "UNTIE ME, WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME!" Guanting said, struggling against his restraints. Ling quickly moved to try to untie him. "What? What's going on?!" "THAT BASTARD'S GONNA KILL WUYING, WE HAVE TO HURRY!!" Guanting said, tears falling from his eyes. Ling was shaking, but quickly untied Guanting. "Let's go, hurry!!" Guanting sped forward and Ling followed behind him.
"Guanting" put the gun to Wuying's forehead. "Baby, stop... I love you... Why are you doing this?" Wuying cried out. "Guanting" chuckled darkly. "You really can't tell the difference? What a sad excuse for a boyfriend you are." Wuying blinked. "Y-You...?" He chuckled and revealed himself. "Oh, poor little Wuying. Got tricked by little 'ol me~" The Devil Knight smirked. "You evil bastard..." Wuying said, wiping his tears. "I'm not a bastard at all, actually." The demon snickered. "Well, seeing as you're about to meet your end, I'll let you in on something, brother~" "B-Brother?" Wuying said, puzzled.
"Over there!" Ling said, as he could see a small light, illuminating from a hallway ahead. The boys sprinted over there, and could see The Devil Knight holding a gun to Wuying's head. "That bastard!!" Guanting growled as he attempted to shatter the window. However, it was soundproof and shatterproof. "Fuck, dammit!" Guanting said, pounding against it. "Look, there's a door over there!" Ling said, as they raced to it.
The Devil Knight smirked. "Fang Ru is the name, sound familiar at all?" "Fang... Ru?" Wuying said, holding his head in pain. "I... I can't..." Fang Ru cackled. "Of course you wouldn't! I erased that little memory. Well, more like dear old daddy did~" Wuying's eyes opened wide. "My... father?" Fang Ru knelt down, still holding the gun to his head. "That's right, I have been raising you for the past 10 years in our father's place. He and I had... Different opinions about raising you. You sure lived up to his expectations." He chuckled. "A damn waste you are, you could've been the strongest Darkness besides me. We could've ruled the world. But... you had to fall for that MUTT." Wuying snapped back at him. "Never speak of him that way again. Or my father. Keep their names out of your mouth." "Quite the attitude for someone who's about to die." He said, smacking Wuying in the head with the gun. Wuying grimaced and held his head, not only was he in pain because of the hit, but the ache of the missing memories in his brain also hurt. "What... memories did you remove?" Wuying asked. "Oh, just the loving father Zhu Yuhan, turned into tyrant father Zhu Yuhan. Along with your WRETCHED mother." "Sarah..." Wuying said, quietly. The Devil Knight groaned. "Oii, you remember that? Oh well, not much use now. OH, I did remove one more thing." He chuckled. "Your life before this lifetime." Wuying thought for a minute, before remembering the dream he had prior. "Could it be..." However, they were interrupted by the sounds of banging against the door.
"Well, looks like chat time is over." Fang Ru smirked. "Goodbye, brother." He fired a shot into Wuying's skull, and Wuying slumped to the floor.
BANG! The sound could be heard, even outside the soundproof room. "No... Wuying... WUYING!!!" Guanting screamed as he pounded against the steel door. Just like that, it opened. The Devil Knight was not in there, only Wuying in the middle of the room, flat on the ground. The boys rushed to his side. "Wuying... Wuying, no... Please... please..." Guanting said, sobbing. He put his head on Wuying's chest, as he sobbed into it. Wuying, with the last strength he had, put his hand on Guanting's head. "I'm sorry... Jie... I... love you..." Guanting's eyes opened wide. Guanting's mind was flooded with memories of their past. Their forbidden love, secret meetings. How they would sneak from their kingdoms to meet in the dark just to get a single hug. "Huiliang..." Guanting muttered, feeling his heart shatter into a million pieces. "Avenge me, Guanting... S-Save..." Wuying coughed up blood. "Everyone..." Wuying's body fell limp, his eyes wide open, but devoid of life.
"WUYING!!!!" Cried out Guanting and Ling.
