Fang Ru paced around the room. He clenched his fist and slammed it on the table. "You... you shouldn't have been able to get up..." He held his face in his hands, shaking like a flag in the wind. "If you keep going, I can't spare you..." A dark, shadowy finger lifted his face by his chin. It said absolutely nothing, but its mere presence made Fang Ru's demeanor change. He became more relaxed and let out a deep breath. "You're exactly right... I've come too far now. There's nothing I won't do... I will take over this world!" He started chuckling, before a full blow twisted and painful laughter came out of his mouth.
Wuying and Guanting stood back-to-back. Both of them smirking as they knew their power together could easily turn the tides. "What took you so long?" Guanting said, as he began to attack in unison with Wuying. "Had to meet my parents. It was a nice visit." Wuying chuckled. Guanting laughed. "You'll have to tell me all about it later, I want to know everything." Wuying quickly tapped Guanting on the shoulder. "Hang in there until then, alright, doggy~?" Wuying winked. Guanting with renewed vigor gave Wuying a little flex. "Hmph, you forget who you're talking to~"
Ling looked at the both of them and smiled wide. Tai quickly snapped him out of it. "We're not out of the woods yet, boy. Keep your eyes sharp!" She said, defending him from an attack that could've easily knocked him out. Ling scoffed, returning to attacking. "I don't need your help... But... thanks." He said. Mo Tai smirked and blushed softly. She quickly flipped her hair. "Don't get used to it. You're a grown man, don't rely on me to save your ass." "Oh, shut up you!" Ling retorted.
Fen and Luoyang had cleared their vicinity of enemies, with Jin following soon after, to which they joined Guanting and Wuying's side. "Well, look like even a bullet to the head couldn't keep our Vampire Prince down~" Luoyang playfully teased Wuying. "I'm not a prince. Shut up, Luoyang." Wuying laughingly replied. "Glad to have you back, Wuying." Fen said, smiling softly. Jin defending Wuying from an incoming attack. "We have lots of catching up to do. I'm glad you're back, though." She said. She was a bit out of breath and tired, but you could tell by the look in her eyes she was very happy to see him back.
After a good 10 minutes, all the humans had either been knocked unconscious, or regained their senses and fled the scene. The group were all exhausted. "This won't be a good place to recover for the time being, let's relocate elsewhere." Yeo Kun said. "Where, though?" Ling responded. Mo Tai chuckled. "You're dense." She snickered and he gave her a dirty look. Lee Cai put his hands down in a "calm down" motion. "The Lunar Garden. No one has power to enter there except for us. You will be safe with our protection." He smiled softly. "Now, gather around us, we will take you there." Wuying looked to Guanting. "Who are those guys?" He asked, quietly. "I'll explain later, but they're on our side." He said, leading Wuying toward the now gathering group. They circled around the princes, all linking hands. "We'll be there in a instant. Do watch your step, there are many delicate flowers in the garden." Cai said softly. Kun raised his hand and in the blink of an eye, they were in a garden. The sky was pitch black, yet there were stars all around. There were many lights illuminating the beautiful garden. Many flowers which did not exist on Earth were scattered around the garden. The group examined the scenery in awe. "This is... This is beautiful..." Jin said, taking in the sights. "Thank you, I tend to it every day. It's my pride and joy." Cai said, sweetly boasting.
Everyone had settled down on benches in the center of the garden. Wuying next to Guanting, resting his head on Guanting's shoulder. "Guanting... I'm so sorry I left..." He said, moving his hand to his lover's, they intertwined their fingers. "I'm just happy you're back. I... can't imagine a life without you." He said. "You'll never be without me, Guanting. I'm yours, and you are mine." Guanting smiled and removed his hand from Wuying's embrace. He reached in his pocket and slipped something onto Wuying's finger. "What?" Wuying looked down at his hand in shock. A silver ring with blue crystals going around the outer perimeter and a triangle-shaped diamond in the center was on his ring finger. "Guanting... what is-?" Guanting's face was serious. "Wuying... I had gotten this before things got crazy... I didn't think I would give this to you so soon, but... When I lost you, I realized that I had loved you in not just this lifetime, but for much longer than that." A tear fell from his eye and he smiled. "I lost my precious Huiliang... But in return, I got my dear Wuying. And I almost lost him too. But I will never make that mistake again." He got down on his knee, happy tears falling from his eyes. "I love you with all my heart, Wuying. I will never let you go as long as I'm breathing. When this is all over, will you do me the honor of being my husband?" Wuying, shocked, looked at Guanting. Everyone looked to the pair, they all had smiles on their faces. No one had an idea about this except for Ling, who had helped Guanting pick out the ring. "Zhu Wuying, I think you just got proposed to~" He chuckled. Jin sighed, but her smile was wide. "To think, he'd spring this on him at a time like this." Wuying's tears flowed from his eyes like a river. "Guanting..." He grabbed his face softly and brought it in for a slow, loving kiss. "Absolutely. Both your precious Huiliang and Dear Wuying would be absolutely honored to marry you." Guanting beamed with delight and held Wuying close. Everyone around them clapped in joy. "Even we can't relax long... This was really needed." Fen said, sighing in happiness. Kun chuckled. "We have the night to relax before going over what needs to be done tomorrow. Besides, I'm sure those lovebirds need some time." He said, teasing. Cai snickered, putting his arms around Kun. "Yes, and your love bird wants some time with you too~"
It was an hour later, Wuying had relayed the information of his time with his parents on the other side. "They... like me?" Guanting said, like a child. Wuying smiled and ruffled his hair. "Yes, there's nothing about you not to like." Guanting blushed slightly and rubbed his neck. "Gee, that's nice..." Wuying took his hand from Guanting's head and looked at it, observing his new ring. "Sorry I don't have one for you in return..." He said, before remembering Sarah had left something in his pocket. "Wait, don't tell me..." He removed the small envelope from his pocket, which held a note and a ring identical to his. "With much love, we, your parents gladly give you off to Guanting to be loved and cared for in the physical world. Wuying, we love you with all our heart. Guanting is a lovely man and we trust him to love you and keep you safe. We won't be able to attend a party physically, so consider this our early gift to you both." Wuying finished reading the note aloud. Both of them were speechless. Wuying took the ring and put it on Guanting's ring finger. The both of them, on the verge of tears again embraced each other tightly. Their diamonds shone a bright white in unison, as if physically showing the completed bond between the two lovers. The two of them, once ripped apart by fate, had finally united in their hearts and souls. "Thank you, Mom... Thank you, Dad..." Wuying said, softly. Guanting held Wuying's head from behind. He gently caressed it before he spoke. "And I thank you both as well... I will keep Wuying safe and won't ever leave his side. Thank you for trusting me with him, I won't let you down."
Up above, Sarah and Yuhan were watching them from heaven. Sarah was sobbing happily and even Yuhan was emotional.
Guanting held Wuying in front of him so he could give him direct eye contact. "Welcome back, my love." He smiled warmly, before kissing his fiancé.
