Quinn POV
Mr. Police man said I can go with Sam. I am happy. I like Sam. Sam is nice. We leave the police and we get to the house again.
"So, Princess, you hungry?" Sam asks. My tummy is hungry so I nod.
Sam makes something called toast. It tastes good. He gives me two and I eat them all. He also gives me a drink. It's called orange juice.
"I'm going to go upstairs for a minute, ok? Stay here and call me if you need anything." Sam tells me and I nod.
When Sam is upstairs, I hear the door open. I turn around and see a man as big as Sam. He looks at me "Hi kiddo!"
I scream. Oh no. He's going to hurt me. "Nonono! Don't scream, kid!" He tells me. I don't listen and carry on screaming. I hide under the table. The man starts walking to me.
Sam comes running downstairs. "What is happe-- Austin stop!" He shouts. Sam walks to me. "Austin, you can't just walk towards her like that. She's scared." He says. "Its okay Princess, Austin is my friend, he won't hurt you." He picks me up and the man walks up to us. I hide in Sam's shirt.
"Hello, my name is Austin. What is your name?" He asks. I don't answer.
Sam POV
When Quinn doesn't answer, Austin sits on the couch and pretends to cry. I look at Quinn and see her eyes water, "Austin stop!" He doesn't. Next thing I know, Quinn is bawling her eyes out. "No no no, Princess. Don't cry." I try to calm her down. "Well done, Austin!" I snap at him. He stops acting like an idiot and looks at Quinn and I and stands up.
"Hey, it's okay, why are you crying?" He asks. Quinn doesn't answer, she just cries more and more. "I think I'm going to go now. Goodbye Quinn, see you, Sam." He says and leaves.
"Hey, Princess, he's gone now. It's okay."
"I made him sad. Now he will hurt me." She sobs. My heart aches at her words.
"Austin was just pretending, he won't hurt you. Do not fear, Princess, trust me, I won't let anyone hurt you." I say the last sentence in a fake British accent. She smiles at me.
"Come on, lets go shopping." I say and she looks at me with a confused face. "We need to buy you some clothes and toys." I explain. She is still confused but nods and I put her shoes on.
We walk out the house and walk towards the car. I decide that we need to buy a carseat first. "Let's walk to the shop and we can use the car after we legalise you in it." I say to Quinn, not realising she has no idea what I'm on about.
We walk to walmart and I text Austin to drop my car off there, using the spare key. We walk into Walmart and start looking for a carseat. I take her towards the carseats for ages 4-6 and tell her to pick one she likes. She picks a black one with pink dots. I take it and we go to the check out.
Once we buy the carseat, we go find my car. Austin must've driven like a maniac because he was super fast. I install the carseat and secure Quinn in it, before driving to the Shopping Centre.
We walk into Primark and start looking for clothes. By that, I mean that I find clothes for young girls and Quinn either shakes her head or nod her head. I have decided that right now, I will buy her whatever she wants. I want her to be happy. I need her to be happy.
