After school, maya met up with lucas at the movie theaters. The movie was hilarious and Maya had a good time. When the movie ended, Maya and lucas wanted to spend more time with eachother that evening. They went to one of the highest hills, and watched the sunset. Right when the sun setted, Lucas looked at Maya and looked into her eyes. Maya did the same. They stopped and stared into each other's eyes and didn't say anything. They just smiled. Suddenly, Maya thought about Riley. She remembered that Riley liked lucas also. She suddenly turned her head back to the sunset and avoided eye contact for the rest of the night. When the sun was down, Lucas and Maya left and walked home together. When Maya got back home, she was so happy. She couldn't stop thinking about Lucas and she thought that how they stared into each others eyes, she thought it was amazing! Maya picked up her phone and started to dial Riley's phone number. The phone started ringing and before Riley answered the call, Maya hing up. She couldn't tell Riley about the date. Riley will be heart broken, and Maya couldn't do that to her best friend.
