The bell rang and kids ran out of class and ran home. Maya ran ahead of everyone else and headed to Starbucks. She sat down at an empty seat and looked out the window. She saw Rebel standing across the street looking into his phone. He is messing with his hair so Maya thought he was looking at his reflection in his phone. Maya laughed and Rebel put his phone in his pocket and walked in. "You didn't see that right?" "If I say no, will you be happy?" Maya said, laughing. Rebel laughed and sat down. It was silent for a moment, and finally, Maya said, "why did you want to hang out with me?" Rebel smiled and laughed. "Are you kiddin'? You're cool! That's why!" Maya looked down and she blushed. She had to be home early today because her mom got home from work and they wanted to hang out. But Maya and Rebel were having a great time at Starbucks. They talked for hours. When it got silent again, Maya looked at her phone and gasped. "I got to go! I was supposed to hang out with my mom today!" Maya said in a hurry. Rebel stood up and opened the door for her so she can just run out. "I had a great time!" They both said. Maya ran out the door and headed home. She shouted out really loud at rebel, "Let's do this again sometime, OK?!!!" Rebel laughed and shouted out to her, "OK!!!" As Maya ran home she felt her blush. She really liked rebel. But than she frowned. What about lucas?
