The next day at school, Maya was walking in the halls. She was thinking about Lucas because ever since their date, Lucas never left her mind. Maya was to busy thinking about lucas that she didn't see that she was about to bump into a boy. When she bumped into him, all of her textbooks fell on the floor. She bent down to pick them up. "Im sorry," she said. The boy helped her pick up her books. "It's ok" he replied. He handed Maya all of her books and they looked into each other's eyes. "I'm rebel" the boy said. "And I'm... I'm... Uh...? My name is... MAYA!" Maya was too busy being lost in rebel's eyes, that she forgot her own name. "Well, Maya you seem very cool and we should hang out sometime." Rebel said with a smirk. "Sure! We can TOTALLY hang out sometime!" Maya smiled bigger then she smiled before. "Ok, Maya do you wanna hang out at Starbucks right after school?" "Yeah! That'll be fun." "Great! See Ya there!" Rebel walked away and Maya danced in the empty halls. "Ms Hart!" Mr. Matthews popped his head out of his classroom. "Get in here! You're late! Detention for you after school" " no! I can't go after school! Cant I have detention when it's time we eat lunch? Please?!" "Ugh! Fine! But just this once" Maya sat down next to Riley. "What are you doing after school?" Riley whispered. "I have a date!" Maya whispered back. "With Lucas?!" Maya turned around and noticed that lucas was absent. "No, not lucas. Someone else." Riley was relieved to hear that Maya was going on a date with another guy, not lucas. Maya was excited about going on a date with Rebel. What about lucas, though?
