Becca's POV

Ob and I went into Jack's new recording office. He had just finished recording and was sending the video to Robin, his editor.

"Hey, Jack," I said.

"Hey, Becca. What can I help ya with?"

Unfortunately, I failed to say what was on my mind, but Ob was able to do it for me.

"Becca and I have decided that we'd like to start our own YouTube gaming channel," she explained.

"That's awesome!" Jack said. "In fact, I was just about ta go ta the store, so let's go get what you two need. Also, what kind of content do ya plan on doin' on that channel?"

"We were thinking of primarily focusing on Minecraft," Ob said.

"Minecraft, eh? I hear it's been gettin' quite a fanbase lately," he said.

"Well, Ob an' I have been fans of the game since the days of Pre-Classic. It's really insane when you think about how far the game has gotten since then," I said.

Ob's POV

Becca and I had just finished putting together our recording setup, and decided that our gaming channel would primarily be focused on Minecraft, though we were (and still are) open to playing other games.

"So what do ya think our first video should be?" Becca asked.

"I think we should do an introductory video," I said. "Ya know, tell everyone what this channel is goin' ta be like."

"That's a great idea!" Becca said as she set the camera to record. We had already figured out an intro and outro. I set my eyes to look like Becca's.

"Hey, all you lovely shadows! I'm Becca!" she said.

"And I'm Obsidian!" I said.

"And we're ShadowGamer!" we say together.

"So, first things first, you guys can call me Ob if you'd like," I said.

"Our channel will be primarily focused on Minecraft, though we will also branch out to other games as well," Becca said. "Also, Robin, Jack's editor, has agreed to be our editor."

"Before we go, I'm going to confirm that I am very much real," I said. "I'm being completely, 100% honest with you. I don't want to pull any wool over your eyes." I decided to show my true eyes to the camera, revealing the glorious black orbs with glowing blue irises. My irises were set to glow at a kind, gentle tone. I wanted people to trust me. (In fact, I still do.)

Becca: Well, you are very trustworthy, Ob.

Ob: That I can agree with, Becca.

"Unfortunately, that is all the time we have for this video," Becca began our outro.

"As always, don't be afraid to embrace the shadows and like this video. Also, while you're at it, why not subscribe and hit the notification bell so that you won't miss a single update? See you guys later." I ended the recording and sent it to Robin for editing and uploading. At this point in time, Becca and I had begun to listen to Alan Walker's music and had become huge fans, so we decided to use "Spectre" (the song up top) for our intro and outro.

As soon as the video was uploaded, Becca shared it with our friends, and it wasn't long before it got some responses. Alice and Danica both said that they trust me, and Alex said that she's glad I decided to be honest with our viewers. As for Lily, she congratulated us on taking this big step. Turq merely responded to the video by texting me a bunch of heart-eye emojis, causing me to blush furiously.

Author: And the ShadowGamer YouTube channel is born!

Becca: Remember, don't go looking for it.

Ob: Because it doesn't actually exist. This is just a story.

Author: Song up top is "Spectre" by Alan Walker.
