Bailey's POV
I woke up, got ready for work, and left. My job? I was a well-known actress and was currently starring in a movie about a benevolent demon who used her powers to help those in need. I was actually allowed to name the character, and a voice that had been inside my head for as long as I can remember had convinced me to name the character "Velvet Rose", or "Velvet" for short. Now, for some reason, whenever we filmed, it all felt so... real. Today was no different. However, when I returned home, I was shocked to find two real-life demons sitting on my couch.
"Well, it looks like we have a visit from Antisepticeye and Obsidian," said the voice.
"Hello, Bailey," Anti said. "Now, I know ya have lots of questions, but I can't promise I'll be able to answer all of them. However, that voice inside yer head will be able to." I just stood there, puzzled. I could feel the voice smirking.
"Anti," Ob said with a chuckle, "give the poor girl a break. What he means to say is that the voice inside yer head is yer demon."
"Is this true?" I asked.
"Yes. And you already know my name," she said.
"V-Velvet Rose? Now it makes sense!"
"Please, call me Velvet."
"But, what about the times when we were filming the shots that would make it to the final cut?"
"That was all me. The wings, claws and fangs are in fact mine, but I've convinced everyone else involved with this movie that they're just props. I've also convinced them that my black eyes with glowing velvet irises are just special contact lenses. Anyways, I can sense that Anti and the Shadow-dancer aren't here just to tell you about me."
"We came here because we looked at the movie's cast," Ob explained.
"And we have a bad feeling about the guy portraying the film's main antagonist," Anti added.
"Hmm...no, it can't be! That's not possible!"
"What is it, Velvet?"
"I have to tell them in person."
I soon felt myself losing control of my body as Velvet took over.
Ob's POV
I watched as Bailey started to change. When she was done, she had velvet hair and black eyes with glowing velvet irises. Velvet looked worried, though.
Becca: How many demons have ya met in these last few years, Ob?
Ob: I will admit, I kinda lost count.
"The guy portraying the main antagonist is... Antimatter," she managed to get out.
"I have a feeling he's got everyone convinced that his inventions are merely props," I stated.
"What inventions?" Velvet asked.
"The first one can separate a demon from their host. The second one can strip a demon of their power."
"And I'm assuming the demon will die if they completely lose their power?" I nodded, answering Velvet's question. She then got up and called someone on her phone.
"Good news, Obsidian!" she said after the phone call. "I've just convinced the director to add you to the film."
"Great! Let's go, then!"
*time skip*
Velvet's POV
I couldn't take it anymore. I had to tell the director the truth.
