A young girl that goes by the name of Jade, stood in the middle of Xandar, smiling in glee while looking around the planet from her standing point. She stood beside a talking tree and a talking raccoon. These were her two only friends ever since her planet was destroyed, luckily, these two strangers took her in as their friend.
Ever since her home planet was destroyed, she depended on the tree and the raccoon. After some time and spending countless adventures with these two, she started to have feelings for the talking raccoon, Rocket. Ever since she met him, she felt attached to him and always following him around. How her planet was destroyed and she met Rocket and his friend, the talking tree, Groot, is a story for another day. Back at her home planet though, she was a princess and a trained assassin. The red marks on her cheeks were a symbol of her people, the Hanakee. A sort of loving yet ruthless species that would do and take whatever they wanted, either in peace and love or through force. Rocket knew where she was from but he still accepted and placed some trust in her. Sadly, he tribe worshiped Ronan the accuser, but her... she didn't. Ronan caused many heartbreaks to her people and ended her home planet.
Now, she travels with her new family, Groot and Rocket, but little did they know that a little orb, would change their life forever.
