"Bruce, Bruce? Can you copy?" Nat tried to reach Bruce, "Bruce, please copy."

".... Copy, Nat," Bruce voice was finally heard.

"Oh, thank god!" Nat sighed, "What's your location?"

"I'm floating... in the ocean right now," Bruce replied, "Sorry... can only save four of those soldiers."

"... It's okay, Bruce," Steve told him, "Tony will be here with a rescue ship in two hours."

"Right," Bruce said.

I didn't say a word about what happened. I was still questioning myself if it was really me who caused it. There's no way my powers are that much powerful. It would be impossible for a simple wish to do something so crazy. I didn't even mean what I wished for. Or maybe I did, but I wasn't sure of it. Everyone inside the jet were super quiet. They were as confused and as shocked as me. The timing was too coincidental. It was right when the missiles were about to launch. It was as if we were having a bit too much of a luck. Two hours later Tony came with a warship. The quinjet dropped off the soldiers and rescued agents. The Avengers members board the ship, except Nat and Clint who landed at a nearby shore. Bruce was picked up soon with four of HYDRA soldiers he brought along. Military soldiers and scientist from the compound as well as some US military officers, also came with Tony. Everybody on the ship tried to find what caused the island to suddenly sink into the ocean. They found no logical explanation. There were no earthquake, no volcanic activity, no atomic bomb exploded, no giant monster or robot or god, nothing. The island sank on its own, killing the soldiers left there but saving the world.

"So probably a higher power helped us," Tony tried to guess, "Or karma just played its course."

"I don't think that's it, Tony," Steve responded.

"Well there is no scientific or cosmic explanation," Tony argued, "It happened at the right moment when we were about be fu-... when we were about to lose."

"It's as if the gods answer our prayers," Bruce spoke.

"It's as if someone answer our wishes," Bucky added.

"... Or mine."

Everyone turned their heads at me as soon as I said it. They looked at each other, didn't know how to respond. I was the only possible reason left to explain all of these. I was there with them, I knew how much time we had left, and I have powers to grant my own wishes.

"I wished for it silently when there were only ten seconds left before the missiles were launched," I continued, "I didn't believe it could happen too, but it seemed to be the only logical explanation I could think of."

"I know you are crazy powerful, kid," Tony put his hands on my shoulders, "But are you sure you wished for it?"

"I thought it on my head," I revealed.

"He probably has some points, Tony," Sam confirmed what I said, "The island was starting to shake and go down at ten seconds mark before the launch time."

"Does it mean... I just...," I looked to Tony's eyes, "Killed some people?"

Tony didn't answer. He wanted to say something to refute it, but if I was indeed the one who caused the island to fall under the ocean, I did murder the soldiers who were left there. Seeing him and the others becoming speechless, pretty much confirmed what I accused of myself. I killed the people there. And now I could accidentally kill anyone too.

"Let's head home first," Tony said, "We'll talk about this on the headquarter."

"Agreed," Steve nodded, "We need to send the virus sample to Wakanda first and bring these criminals to the compound. Then we'll discuss this later."
