The first thing coming into my head was how comfortable my body felt. It was something I terribly missed in the last four days. The room was unfamiliar in the first minutes I opened my eyes. I came to realize I was back in the compound. I blinked several times and slapped my face to check whether it was a dream or not. Then I remembered what happened. The robots, mutants, and all those stuff. I realized it must have been over and everything came to be fine in the end. I sighed deeply and closed my eyes to get a bit more sleep.

"Wait. Where's Aoi?" I whispered to myself, sitting upright.

I plucked off the IV fluid tube on my wrist and got out of the bed. My body felt terrible but I wanted to see him immediately. I was only three steps away from my bed when the door to the clinic room opened.

"Wow, kid, where the heck are you going?" Dr. Banner asked.

"I apologize for being impatient, doctor, but I need to see Aoi," I said to him, half begging.

"Why? What's with me?" Aoi appeared from Dr. Banner's back, "Aren't you hurt? Why are you out of bed?"

"Christ! I thought something must have happened after I was knocked out by the ultra-large Megatron," I sat back on the bed.

"I was only out for a minute to grab a drink," Aoi walked to the left side of my bed.

"He seems to be alright so far," Dr. Banner checked me, "The wounds healed nicely, no surprise. He'll be able to go home tomorrow."

"Thank you, Bruce," Aoi looked content.

"Thanks, Dr. Banner," I also said, "Don't you need to put back the IV thingy?"

"Nah. I'll call the cook downstairs and bring you something to eat instead," Dr. Banner went out of the door, "Get some more rest, Peter."

"What day is it today?" I turned to Aoi.

"Wednesday, why?" Aoi said as if nothing was wrong.

"So I've been out for three days?" I said in surprise.

"Yep."

"Don't you have school? Why are you here?"

"I was from school. Catching up to things is hard, especially when the final exam is coming. But luckily I'm the 'shove in everything a day prior' kind of person."

"Where's Deadpool? Is he around?"

"He's going back to his family for a week. He'll be here by the weekend though," Aoi revealed, "Why? Do you miss your buddy-buddy?"

"Honestly, yeah. I finally got used to his mouth," I laughed.

"Don't worry. He misses you too. He kept on wailing before leaving for home. He said to contact him whenever you wake up, which I did a second ago."

"Tell me everything I missed when I passed out," I told him.

"Ugh. It's a really long story," Aoi complained, wasn't eager to have a storytime.

"Aw, come on. Have mercy on this poor, curious man," I begged.

"Fine. I won't tell it in detail though, is it alright?" he bargained.

"Yeah. Do it your style."

"So you were basically KO'd right? Then Kurt..." Aoi started the hour-long story.

He ended up telling the whole details anyway. He told me about Kurt saving both of us in nick of time, about him splitting Genosha and trapping the ultimate Sentinel in with the help of the other mutants, about Magneto being in the run with his remaining members, and all those fancy climax fights I missed. After the battle, Mr. Stark had been busy handling Secretary Ross. Aoi didn't hear much about it, but he was sure he'd be called soon for what happened last week. He revealed that May called me several times while I was out, which he found out on Monday when May called him to ask what happened to me and my phone. He wasn't a good liar and revealed everything to her. I didn't like what I heard but I kissed his forehead to assure him it was fine. She went directly to the clinic room as she got off from her work trip. Aoi apologized to her, with the additional point of buying her a whole cake. I instantly predicted May would instead hug and console him, which he confirmed as he continued his story. His story ended when the clinic room's door opened again. May, Mr. Stark, and Ms. Pepper showed up, bringing along lunch.
