Natalia's P.O.V

Once we finished our meal we left the diner but not before saying goodbye to Sarah and March.

The second we entered the car, I turned to him.

"So, are we going back to my house now?"

"No, we have one more place to go." He told me as he started the car.

"But-" He instantly interrupted my sentence.

"No buts, Natalia. Relax." Alessandro offered me a comforting smile that helped in his attempt to make me relax.

"Alright," I replied while leaning back in my chair as I allowed my shoulders to relax.

-

About an hour passed before the car stopped.

"Where are we?" I asked him, but he failed to respond as he made his way over to my door, opening it like earlier.

I took his hand letting him help me out of the car. "Come on."

He intertwined our fingers before leading me through the woods.

"Now I'm pretty sure you're going to kill me." I joked which had him laughing lightly.

"For the last time, I'm not going to kill you, Natalia."

"I'll believe that when I go home and sleep."

"What can I do to make you trust me?"

"I think not leading me into the woods at night could be a start."

We both let out a laugh as we walked further into the woods.

Suddenly he stopped causing me to stop as well.

I looked around amazed when I was greeted by the sight of a glowing lake.

"What sort of witchcraft is this?" I asked.

"Glowing crystals at the bottom of the lake is one of the oldest spells in the book of magic. An ancient witch placed them here, also known as my mother." He told me looking so serious as he said this.

"You're kidding right?" I asked jokingly which had him laughing slightly as he placed his hand on my back gently leading me towards the lake.

"Your mother sounds nice," I admitted, he sighed.

"She was." His response made me curious.

Did something happen to his mother?

Did she die?

"After you." He said making me raise a brow.

"I'm not going in there," I stated.

"Your loss." He removed his shirt giving me the opportunity to see his hairless chest and firm abs.

"And I stare too much?" He inquired amused, I shrugged still taking in his body as he slipped off his shorts allowing me to see a print of what was hidden behind his boxer.

"You look..." I stopped myself knowing better than to finish that sentence as it would probably start something I couldn't end.

"Handsome? Hot? Se—" I didn't allow him to finish as I pushed him inside the lake.

He laughed as he went down hitting the water with a loud splash which had the water wetting my clothes.

It took a few seconds for him to come back up, but when he did he was smiling.

"You sure you don't want to join?" I nodded.

"I'm sure."

I took a seat against the green grass as I watched him swim around for a bit.
