It was the next day, I had woken up early since I was extremely excited about the date, though I would never let Alessandro know that, I could already picture his smug smile if he did. Because I had a lot of time before the date I decided to work out with Alessia.
"-So then he proceeded to hit him-" I halted her sentence to ask a question.
"Wait because he accidentally walked into you?" She nodded, rolling her eyes as she threw punches at the punching bag, I made sure to hold it with a firm grip.
"Alessandro was a little overprotective in high school." Punch.
"Did he get in trouble?" Alessia shook her head as we switched places.
"No, of course not, he was untouchable in high school. Even the headmistress was afraid of him. He broke many rules." I raised my eyebrow, surprised Alessandro was a troublemaker, he seemed like such an angel when he spoke to me, but that is probably because he was interested in me. I began hitting the punching bag, making sure I had the proper stance.
"Like?" I asked since her statement had caught my attention.
"Fighting as I said before, talking back to the teachers, skipping class or school and going in the girl's dormitory." I felt my stomach drop hearing the girl's dormitory part, I tried to ignore it, knowing it was stupid to overthink the past, his past. I couldn't help the hard punched that impact had Alessia almost falling.
"I'm sorry, are you ok?" She nodded grinning at me.
"You and Alessandro get angry the same way." I raised a brow, acting confused. "I have no idea what you're talking about," I told her as I took off my gloves, taking a seat on the wooden floor stretching my legs.
"He got so pissed whenever Ryan or Eric spoke to you or touched you." I smiled softly, touching my toes with the tip of my fingers. "You know how excited he is about the date? I hadn't seen him smile like that since the night-"
"He told you about that?" She shook her head, "He didn't have to, your screams were enough." Alessia said earning a shock laugh from me as she chuckled, amused at my expression.
"What's going with him and Christie?" Alessia brows furrowed confused. "Nothing."
"Have they ever...?" She nodded I sighed for the first time I didn't like the fact my gut feeling was right.
"I knew it." She gave me a soft smile, "Natalia, you shouldn't worry about that. He seems invested in you and only you."
"Then-" I started but didn't get to finish as the sound of the gym door opening caught our attention.
"Alessia, Natalia." Alessandro greeted us, making his way over, he was in a white shirt that allowed me to see his strong arms and the jeans he wore added to his casual look. His soft hair was messy presumably because he ran his fingers through it multiple times.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were discussing business with Anton." Alessia asked her brother while I continued to stretch my legs, as I pulled them apart, leaning to the side to touch my toes once again. I could feel Alessandro's eyes taking in my flexibility as I did this.
"We just finished up. Alessia could you leave?" His sister rolled her eyes, standing.
"You have no manners, I swear."
"Neither do you. I'm glad we could establish that, so can you go now?" She glared at him, amusing me.
"Fine, Natalia I'll talk to you later." She left the gym, leaving Alessandro and me, alone.
