As I pushed through the seventh village, my desperation intensified. The villagers remained tight-lipped about Daryll's whereabouts, and frustration boiled within me. In a moment of anger, I made a grave decision - to burn their village to the ground, hoping to force them to speak.

The once peaceful village was soon engulfed in flames, the crackling inferno casting eerie shadows against the desert backdrop. Horror washed over me as I witnessed the destruction I had wrought. "What have I done?" I whispered, my voice trembling with remorse.

The guilt of my actions weighed heavily on my soul. Perhaps these villagers truly knew nothing of Daryll's whereabouts, and my wrath had unfairly ruined their lives. I had become a monster, fueled by rage and vengeance, blinding myself to the consequences of my actions.

As the smoke dissipated, I saw Daryll escaping in a car. I couldn't let him slip through my fingers again. Ignoring the chaos I had caused, I ran after the moving vehicle, my heart pounding in my chest.

With adrenaline coursing through my veins, I hurled a tracker, aiming for the car. The small device landed on the vehicle, giving us a chance to follow Daryll's movements. I knew that the key to ending this relentless pursuit lay in tracking him to his lair.

I urgently contacted the 20 soldiers who had been assisting me. "Get back to Headquarters," I commanded, my voice resolute, "We will track him from there."

Back at the Headquarters, the atmosphere was tense. The soldiers anxiously awaited updates on Daryll's location, their eyes reflecting the shared determination to put an end to this dangerous game.
