"Angel, come here, my child."
"Yes, Ama?"
"I have taught you all I can, child. Soon, it will be time for you to leave me and live among humans."
"I don't want to leave you, Ama!"
"I will always be with you, Angel. Just as you will always be in my heart, I will be in yours. Rest now, and always wear the necklace I gave you."
"Ama, who is that dragon?!"
"Angel! You must run away. Acnologia must not take you."
"I want to help you fight, Ama!"
"No! You must stay safe! But not in Fiore. Scale from my heart, take Angel to safety until Acnologia is defeated. Protect my daughter! So says the Queen of Lightning Dragons, Amadriska Rose the Thunderlight!"
"No! Ama!" I bolted upright in my sleep roll just as the sun crested the horizon.
"What the hell are you yelling for, Angel?!" Gajeel shouted.
"Nothing. Go back to sleep, Gajeel." he did so without any more prompting and I climbed out of my blankets. She sent me away because of Acnologia. Guess I have to ask Laxus and Gajeel what happened to him. For now, maybe a quick bath and a change of clothes.
"Wake up!" I shouted at the two snoring Slayers.
"Wha- who's attacking?" Gajeel freaked out, shooting up from his bedding.
"no one's attacking, metal-face. Angel's excited to try to take us both on. Get up, you're on breakfast." Laxus grumbled from his own bedding.
"Breakfast is already done, uys. Come on, both of you get up. You have time to eat and wake up a bit and then I want to start." At the mention of food, both were up and sitting at the fire with me. "Oh, Gajeel, I found this in the old guild hall. Hope you like it." I pulled a hunk of metal from my lap and tossed it to him.
"Iron?"
"I guess they kept a stash of it in case you guys came back. Eat."
Thunder rolled over our heads as I fought of Gajeel and Laxus. I hope it doesn't rain over our camp. I'd been fighting them for hours now, but still hadn't managed to knock either of them out of the fight. Come on. I have to able to beat them if I ever want to be able to go on jobs by myself. It has to be today, we've been training for a month and a half. "Lightning Dragon Roar!"
"Iron Dragon Roar!" They both shot roars at me, one after the other. I ate Laxus' roar and turned just in time to block Gajeels.
"Lightning Dragon shield!" I held up a five by five wall of lightning and dug my feet into the soil below, effectively blocking Gajeel's roar and bouncing it back at him.
"Good! But you left your back open to attack!" I heard Laxus behind me.
"Lightning Dragon Indiscriminate Shock!" Lightning rained down around me, causing both to have to jump back to avoid being hit. "I'm not stupid, Laxus! Lightning Dragon Roar!" i turned on the ball of my foot and aimed he roar at Gajeel, finally knocking him out of the boundary line of our field.
"Should have taken me out first, short stack. Now you're running low on magic power and you let your back unprotected again." Laxus said above my ear as he grabbed me from behind, his grip holding tight to my upper arms.
"Not if I use S.I.N.G."
"Sing?"
"Solar Plexus," I jabbed my elbow into his abdomen, "instep," I stomped my heel on the arch of his foot, "nose," when he released my arms, I spun and planted my fist in his face, "groin." Just as I raised my leg to knee him in the nuts, Laxus raised his leg and hooked mine, pulling me off balance.
"Lightning Dragon Roar!" The magic came at me and I quickly ate it, flipping back to my feet a good distance away. I felt the first drop hit my face before the bottom fell out of the sky and thunder rolled overhead. This should be interesting. Maybe I'll get to eat wild lightning.
"Thanks for the meal, Laxus. How about we finish this before you can really recover?" I dropped my head and ran at him, aiming for his already bruised Solar Plexus. "Lightning Dragon Sword Horn!" I rammed my skull into him. "Lightning Dragon Brilliant Bolt!" I planted my fist in his stomach, sending him back with the force of he magic. Laxus just barely stumbled past the boundary line, and I ran at him, giving him one final push to send him out. "Like I said..." I panted, "I'm not stupid." With a smile, I started dancing in the rain, sticking my hands above my head and spinning around o see if I could get lightning to strike at me. "Gajeel, could you be a lightning rod for me?! I wanna taste wild lightning!" I requested cheerfully.
"Hell no!"
"Party pooper. Oh, I see some! Come at me, Mother Nature!"
"Don't taunt nature. If you wanna eat lightning, you have to go where it is But since you haven't learned hat technique yet, you'll have to wait." Laxus advised me as he came to my side.
"Turning into lightning is something only the male Lightning Dragons can do. But I kind of remember one spell from Ama that should be useful for that. Wanna see?" I offered, bouncing on my toes.
"Hey, why you staring at my sister like that Bolt-face?!" Gajeel shouted, running up and separating us.
"There's... metal. Under your shirt." Both looked at me curiously then, down at my shirt. Metal? But the only thing they could possibly see is - I looked down at my chest and, sure enough, my shirt and sports bra were soaked and basically see through, both being white fabric.
"Alright," I covered myself with my left am and b lasted both of them with lightning, "there are no free shows. And Gajeel, you really shouldn't be looking at my tits like that when you're calling me your sister. I'll meet you pervs back at camp."
