The next morning,  I woke before Laxus. I looked around the room at the mess that we hsd created. My limbs were sore but I smiled as images replayed in my mind from the night before. As I swung my legs over the side of the bed, I took in all the ripped material that resembled confetti that was scattered across the floor. I pulled on my robe and headed for the kitchen to make Laxus some breakfast.

As I was waiting for the bacon to finish, I looked at my lactrima comm to see twelve missed calls from Gajeel, eight texts from Levy, and a few calls from Mira. I had just sat the plates down on the table and was headed back for a drink when I walked into the solid wall that was Laxus. "Morning, beautiful." He greeted as he pulled me into a warm embrace. "Smells and looks good. I'm starving. Someone zapped me of my energy last night." He grinned before kissing the top of my head.

"Lucky girl, that one was. Maybe you won't be so grumpy." I replied playfully. We sat and ate our food in silence, only looking up stuy one another to smile. Once done with our food, we cleaned up our dishes. "You know what?" I asked as I hoped up onto the counter.

"Hmm... what's that?" He asked, stepping between my legs and biting his lip when he realized I was still naked underneath my robe. Slowly, teasingly, I began to remove the robe.

"I'm full of energy and I want some more of what I got last night." With a grin and a growl, he bent his head, claiming my lips. This time was different; the kiss was gentle. He cupped my face, holding me close. When he pushed into me, it was slow. He wasn't fast or rough like the night before. He slowly flexed his hips. He slipped his tongue into my mouth and I his. I brought my hips up to meet him the best I could. Even though he moved slowly, he hit his mark every time. I cried out his name over and over again. He never changed speed - it was slow and sweet - and it honestly brought tears to my eyes as the storm grew in my belly.

"Cum for me like a good girl." That's all it took to send me sailing over. We stood there, covered in sweat, as we clung to each other, catching our breath. "Angel Rose, you're my favorite storm."

"And you're my favorite Dragon."

"I hate the train. We're walking back." I asserted as my stomach finally got back under control.

"Don't whine. We're in job."

"I'm not whining. I'm telling you, I'm not taking the train back to Magnolia. We could have walked to begin with since it's just us. But no... mister 'not a control freak' insisted on taking the train."

"Better watch your mouth before it earns you another spanking, Angel." Laxus whispered in my ear as he passed by me to our client's house.

"Oh, I'm so scared. Please, we both know I like those as much as you do. Try again."

"Alright. Behave, or next time, you don't get to cum."

"Oh, good one. Except that you're obsessed with how many orgasms you can force from me before I pass out. Face it, Laxus, I can take whatever punishment you can dish out." I teased, skipping up to his side and settling under the weight of his arm.

"Are you trying to distract me from why we're here?"

"Nope. You're just easily distracted. Come on. Knock."

"Lightning Dragon Raging Bolt!" My lightning danced toward the creature, obliterating one of its legs.

"Angel, duck!" I dropped to the ground just in time for Laxus to use one of his own bolts and take out another leg. The creature swiped its tail at us and knocked us back into the brush. "What the hell is with this thing? It should be down already." I know it's a forest wyvern but it's almost like it's a hybrid of a wyvern and a dragon.

"Laxus! We have to go for its belly. The scales will be weaker there."

"How are we gonna do that? The thing's laying down."

"I'm gonna draw its attention. Kill it as soon as it gets up."

"Angel, wait-"

"We don't have time. Just do it. Lightning Wings!" As soon as my wings formed on my back, I took to the sky above the monster. "Lightning Dragon Roar!" My roar hit the creature's head, effectively gaining its attention. "Come on, ugly! Come get me!" I waited, hovering above it as it stretched out its massive wings and started to take flight. "Now, Laxus!"

"Lightning Dragon Roar!" The force of Laxus' roar went straight through the creature, taking out some of the forest behind it as the monster finally fell. Finally. I was almost down to the ground when a clawed paw grabbed me and took off in a new direction.

"Put me down, you ugly bastard!" A growl was my only response as the monster took me farther away.

"Storm!" A growl escaped me as I fought the monster's grip.  I turned myself just enough to see the creature's belly and found a decidedly excited male body part.

"Lightning Dragon Brilliant Bolt!" The bolt took out the monster's leg, causing it to drop me. I turned my body as I began to fall and shot off a roar, killing the beast. I don't have enough magic left for my wings, or time to use my necklace. Oh, this is gonna hurt a little bit. I waited for the impact to come, knowing that it at least wouldn't kill me. But instead if feeling my whole body crash into the ground below, I felt a softer impact at the back of my knees and my shoulders.

"Damn it, Angel! The hell were you thinking?! That thing could have killed you and I wasn't there to protect you!" My silver eyes clashed with Laxus' orange ones when I snapped my head to the side to glare at him.

"Protect me?! I'm not some damsel in distress, Laxus! I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself!"

"Yeah, I could see that when you were falling from the sky! And when you let yourself get captured by that thing!"

"I didn't let it capture me! And I killed it, didn't I?!"

"With the last of you're magic! What if I hadn't caught you in time?!"

"Then I would have been fine! A fall like that wouldn't have killed me! Jesus, Laxus, I'm your woman, not your property! Put me the fuck down!"

"No!"

"'No'? Put me down, now!" I wriggled around until I managed to drop to my feet.

"How the fuck am I supposed to keep my woman safe if you won't let me protect you?!"

"By fighting with me, not against me! I'm a Fairy Tail Wizard and a Dragon Princess! I'm not some delicate flower you have to put on a pedestal! Damn it!" I spun on my gel abs marched away from him in the direction of the town.

"Where are you going?!"

"To get the damn reward and go home! You're pissing me off and I don't want to say something I'll regret later!"

"Fuck! Angel, baby, wait!" I jerked to a stop when Laxus grabbed my arm. "Look at me."

"Laxus, I will not be treated like some damn possession. I'm your woman because I want to be, not because you laid claim to me."

"I know. Angel, that thing could have seriously hurt you. Do you know how scared I was to lose you when I saw it grab you? I know you can take care of yourself; but it still scared me half to death. I just got you how I need you to be in my life. I can't lose you so quickly." Finally, I caved and turned to face him, pulling him into a hug.

"You won't lose me. Have faith in me. I don't need you to protect me, I need you to be by my side."

"I know... I just... I need you to be careful. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you." Now that my anger had subsided, I saw tears in Laxus' eyes. I used his grip on my arm to pull him into a tight hug.

"Laxus, I promise you won't lose me. The only way I'm leaving is if you tell me to. Laxus, I love you. I've been in love with you for a long time. I'm not going anywhere."
