Valerie Vs. Deyanira

Heeeeey guys! I got my tickets to The Hobbits!! It's showing on Dec. 12 in my country. I'm so HAPPY!!! :D This story is almost done!! E N J O Y ! !

        Point, step, point, jump. The music played and I was now in a different place. There was no audience, no stage, no back-up dancers. Just me. This is why I loved Ballet, I was in a whole new place, and in that place I was at peace. As the back-up dancers lifted me up, I heard the oohs and awws. I could feel Stacey glaring holes through my head at the side of the stage. She was my under study and I know that right at this moment she is praying that somehow I would trip and break something.

But no. I know Deyanira would never let me see Legolas or Skylar ever again. And I might seem selfish but I have to let them go. Ballet was the only thing that cared right now. I have to learn to live my life without them. I could feel the smiles of my mom and Cindy in the front row, my dad was absent due to "Business trip" to Japan. I just have to forget that I ever had a best friend, who supported me in everything I did, who stood by my side through better or through worst, who was like my long lost sister. Had to forget that I had an amazing love, a man or should I say Elf who made me feel like I was the only woman in the world, who loved me till no end. I had to forget the two people who brought color to my life.

I danced with everything I had left, I danced and I thought of....

Am I dreaming?

"Ms.Greene!" I heard my instructor hissed angrily at the bottom of the stage, her smile no longer plastered on her wrinkled face. But my eyes were glued to the open doors across the room. The people's head turned around to glare at the person who rudely opened them letting the stinging sunlight fill the dark room. "Valerie!!" his voice called out to me like a lullaby.

I felt as if the whole world just disappeared, my heart stopped and I was afraid to blink, afraid that he might disappear. I was afraid to call out his name, afraid that I was just hallucinating. But he stepped forward and I saw him clearly. This was no dream, no hallucination, no trick. He was standing across the room, he looked as if he ran across the world just to get here.

"Legolas." I gasped out as I stopped dancing, making an even bigger problem for everyone. But nothing mattered. Not even Ballet. My instructor stood up furiously as she slammed the clipboard on the floor, "Ms.Greene! I will not tolerate your emotions anymore! If you don't continue this instant I will make sure you will never have a career in Ballet, I swea--" but she was cut off as my mother slammed her fist into her face, knocking my teacher out. "Don't talk to my daughter that way." she growled as she winked at me. I smiled at Legolas as he stood there confused at what just happened.

Stacey then ran on the stage shrieking, "Why does she get everything!? The role!? The man!? I should have gotten the role!! Legolas should love me!!" Cindy then climbed the stage and said "Oh shut up!" as she slapped Stacey to the ground. "Go get him sis! He is truly a keeper. I mean heck! He wasn't even attracted to me." she said as she started dragging Stacey off stage. I looked back at Legolas and smiled, I knew that if I leave this stage then I will lose everything I have worked for and I might end up dead. But to live life knowing I gave up the chance to be with Legolas even for the very last time, was already a death sentence.

I jumped off the stage. Knowing I'm leaving my life behind. I ran across the room, meeting Legolas halfway. I instantly threw my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist, and my whole world ignited every being of me. "I can't believe this." I whispered, I couldn't understand. How was he standing here? With me? I pulled away and stared into his loving blue eyes, "How?" I whispered but instead of an answer he kissed me, and once again my heart was soaring through the sky leaving me hopelessly breathless. He pulled away and leaned his forehead in mine, "We don't have much time," he grabbed my hand as he started dragging me out the theatre.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I trailed behind him. "The portal that Gandalf opened... he can only hold on for a little while. I just had to grab you and bring you back to Middle Earth." my heart soared as I realized that I was going to see Skylar once more and be with Legolas. "Where's this portal?" I asked as I started running beside Legolas. "The street where you found me." he said, I remembered that night. I did not regret going to that party. "Then how did you find me?" I asked, "I knew it was your dance today. Me and Skylar were suppose to throw you a surprise party." he said, and once again I have to say that he is the perfect boyfriend anyone could have.

As we were nearing the street that I first saw and met Legolas, I saw the portal. It looked like somebody tore reality open, lightning was keeping the people away from it and the wind did its job as well. Me and Legolas were about to jump through the portal, I had no second thoughts about this. I know that my life was with Legolas and without him I don't think you can call that living. Suddenly a black shadow blocked our way to the portal, "YOU FOOLS!!" Deyanira's voice echoed, the skies suddenly turned dark and fire was surrounding us. We were trapped.

"You think you could leave Earth alive?!" she hissed as she walked out the shadow with her long black robes trailing behind her. "Deyanira... Let's leave this place and fight back home." Legolas tried reasoning with her, I could already hear Skylar's voice in my head saying 'Legolas you can't reason with a psychopath' she is right. Deyanira just smiled as she got out her whip. "Try me." she said as she started whipping, Legolas pushed me to the side just a few inches from Deyanira's whip. It was hard to dodge her when your in a Ballet tutu. Legolas then unsheathed his swords and started battling her. But she was too fast. "Valerie!! Get into the portal!" Legolas shouted, I then knew what he was trying to do. He was gonna distract Deyanira. "I'm not leaving without you." I shouted back at him.

"The portal is closing!!" he shouted, I saw that the portal was getting smaller and smaller.

Legolas then stabbed Deyanira in the shoulder just enough for us to get through the portal. Legolas ran and grabbed me as we started running to the portal, but in the corner of my eye I saw Deyanira pull the sword out and threw it to the ground then she lift her hand up and lightning started shooting from it. I did what I had to do.

I pushed Legolas into the portal as the lightning hit my stomach. I couldn't describe the pain that I was feeling. I grabbed Legolas' sword that Deyanira threw on the ground and stabbed her right in the heart. But all she did was smile and said "You'll never be with him again."

"VALERIE!!"

Then the portal closed.

Legolas was gone forever.
