Hello guys! Sorry for the very late update, me and Wattpad were having a few complications and this story should've been up like 2 days ago. but thank the Valar that Wattpad and me have sorted our-- ok! ok! Enough with the boring stuff this chapter is in Legolas' POV. Enjoy!

Nobody likes Cindy... well good... me too.

Legolas' POV

I felt the blood leaving my body, my eyes widen with fear but what I fear the most is the nightmares that are about to come about this moment.

"Why my boobs got your tongue?" Cindy smirked, 

I couldn't take looking at it anymore that I grabbed the masks of Valerie and Skylar-- it was a mask of someone called Obama something who is the leader of America-- I grabbed both of their masks and shoved it to Cindy's chest which she gasped in shock at me neglecting her chest. "Somethings are left to be unseen." I mumbled but I think Skylar and Valerie heard me-- Valar she had a beautiful smile-- they tried holding their laughter. "What's so wrong about my boobs?" Cindy asked in pretend agony.

"Well first of all... they look fake," Skylar said as she pointed to Cindy's chest "but I think your boobs are wonderful now-- not everyone has Obama tits." making Valerie burst out laughing while Cindy glared at both of them I even laughed myself because just by looking at Valerie makes my every being jump in happiness. Cindy pulled the masks off and pulled her short down "What you guys wanna do?" Skylar asked, "Let's watch the parades then we go eat then we will watch the fireworks later." Valerie suggested.

Cindy stomped off with a giggling Skylar behind her Valerie's eyes connected with mine as she smiled her charming smile and grabbed my hand to follow them and I happily followed her. People were on some sort of moving.... thing throwing necklaces and food along with cups and other weird things. Valerie kept jumping along with Skylar as they tried grabbing everything as I just catch them in mid-air. Cindy just went around talking to people but something caught my eye something across from me, but I wasn't so sure because of the parade blocking my full view.

but once the parade was out of the way just a minute, my blood ran cold, I felt my every being scream out in horror as I saw her piercing, soul shattering blue eyes stared back at me with an evil smirk on her face, her golden blonde hair up in her usual hairstyle. But she couldn't be here-- no.

It was impossible.

She should not be here even I shouldn't but why was she here? Unless... Her gaze seemed cold and sneering like she knew I would be here, she knew everything but how could she? I tried pushing people away so I could approach her but as another moving thing passed she was gone with a blink of an eye. 

Why?

How?

Suddenly a piercing blood curling scream of a girl made the people stop dead in their tracks wondering what made the girl scream but once I laid eyes on the reason why I was now alerted as the reason why the girl screamed was because Orcs stood before her as one of the Orcs stood before her as they sliced someone's head off. People started panicking and shouting as they ran away from the Orcs.

My eyes quickly darted to Valerie-- but she was no where to be seen. My heart quickened its pace as I found no trace of Valerie. "Valerie!!" I shouted over the roaring of Orcs and screams of terrified people "Valerie!!" I shouted frantically trying to search everywhere for the girl that has grown to play an important part in my life. "Legolas!!" I heard her voice shout I turned around and saw her standing in the middle of the running crowd her eyes filled with relief as she looked at me, so was I. I ran to her and she to me and she threw her arms around my neck and mine around her waist and for a split second the world seemed so far away, just me and Valerie, and in my eyes that world seemed perfect.

"Legolas are you okay!?" Valerie asked as she grabbed my face with both her hands and looked deeply into me eyes "Yes, what about you? Where's Skylar and Cindy?" I asked and even though I was not particularly fond of Cindy still she was Valerie's sister and I never want Valerie to get hurt even if she is also not fond of her own sister. "They're safe, what should we do with them?!" she asked as she started running with our hands entwined together as she pointed behind us a small party of Orcs. "I can deal with them." I said sternly as I stopped running with her but her eyes widened and she said "No, you'll expose yourself and I don't want people taking you away from me or worse." 

I knew what she meant and I had no other option but to agree with her I gave her a small nod as we both started running again. Hopefully these mortals were able to kill the vile creatures, Orcs, before they kill them.

The sun has gone down and night has finally arrived, me and Valerie sat down on a small bench in our balcony waiting for the Fireworks to start, a blanket was over her shoulders as she drank wine. Skylar was sleeping trying to get the horrid memories of the parade out of her mind while Cindy was down at the beach partying. Valerie was quiet as she just stared at the starless sky. 

"Valerie?"

"Hmm?"

"May I ask a question?" I asked her as I stared at the side of her face but then she turned and looked at me "Sure, what do you want to ask?" she asked, I knew she was still scared since Orcs keep appearing and she was also scared that people might find out who I truly am since the Orcs were now dead but they were all over the television so called "news" and Valerie was frightened that people will take me away but I promised her that I'll never leave her even if Sauron himself will take me I will fight to stand by her side which of course she didn't understand what I meant.

"What are we?" I asked hoping we were more than friends, her cheeks suddenly turned red as she looked away from me for a minute but then returned her gaze back at me "Honestly Legolas... I don't know... but..--" I cut her off by asking "but what do you feel towards me?" her cheeks became more red which made her absolutely adorable. She bit her lower lip and stared at her hands which were holding the glass of wine but then a booming sound caught both our attention, we turned our head towards the Sky were we heard the sound and we both saw the fireworks started.

The fireworks reminded me of a dear friend back in Middle Earth, Mithrandir, but as I looked back at Valerie she wasn't looking at the fireworks she was looking at me. "What are you thinking about?" she asked me as the color of the fireworks reflected in her eyes "You." I said she smiled at me warmly and grabbed my hand and said "We are more than friends Legolas.... but we are not lovers." this statement confused me but instead of asking questions I decided to not ruin the moment and smile back at her as I gently squeezed her hand in mine.

but still that doesn't answer my question, what does she feel towards me?
