The Bird Scene

(Jay's POV)

I am at school walking and texting when I bump into someone. 

"Hey watch it" I heard someone say

"Oh god. I'm sorry......" Then I saw who it was. "Tori? Why do you have so much stuff" I asked helping her with her stuff

"I honestly can't answer that. Can you help me?" She asked 

"Of course. Where's your locker?" I asked grabbing her stuff. 

"Just over there" She said then walked over. I followed her. I put her stuff into the locker. Robbie and Andre come over. "Alright my locker is filled. I feel complete" Tori said shutting the locker. 

"Whoa whoa not yet" Andre said

"What?" Tori asked 

"You gotta customize it" I said 

"Everyone at Hollywood Arts has to customized their locker" Robbie said 

"Oh well, what did you do for yours" Tori asked Robbie

"I made a mosaic using all of the baby bottle nipples from my childhood. They remind me of a happier time" Robbie said

"What about yours Jay?" Tori asked me

"I have pictures of the people who mean the most to me. They're mostly of my mom and sister but with a few of my friends. Like Andre is in it, Beck, even Robbie" I said 

"I would love to see it one day" Tori said smiling

"Maybe it will be sooner than you think" I said smiling

"Alright you two stop flirting" Andre said

"We weren't flirting dude" I said

"Whatever you say" He said 

"How about your Andre?" Tori said 

"Check it out" Andre said walking over to his locker

"Follow those dreads" Rex said 

Andre starts playing on his piano locker. Then Lane comes over. "Hey Andre, Robbie. That squirrel is back in my office again" He said

"I'll get the net" Andre said

"I'll get the nuts" Robbie said. They leave

"So......." Tori said smiling

"So what?" I asked 

"Can I see your locker now?" Tori asked excitedly

"I guess. Follow me" I said. We walked to my locker and see all the pictures and little description next to them. 

"Wow, this is amazing. Your mom looks very pretty" Tori said 

"Yeah she was very pretty. But she had to lose all her hair and lost a lot of weight" I said 

"You're mom has cancer?" Tori asked

"Yeah. Level 2 cancer. Has had it for about 3 years now. It started out as level one but it got worse. She's been stable for 3 years on level 2. They think she's getting better but they don't want to risk her coming out of the hospital. So I've been visiting her everyday. You know my sister didn't even want to go to college. She just wanted to work. She kind of had to because our father isn't in the picture anymore. Sorry I'm just talking.. I'll shut up" I said about to walk away

"Jay.....it's fine. I'm glad you are opening up to me. But i have no idea what to do with my locker" Tori said 

"I can't help you with that. It's your choice" I said
