We are practicing for our musical.
"Ready? Action" The teacher said
The lights turn on us. "I don't know" I said to Robbie
"Oh come on. Why can't you admit you're in love with me?" Robbie said to me
"Why are you in love with me?" I said
"Because you're beautiful. Look at your face in the moonlight" Robbie said
"I can't" I said
"You can" He said
"No a person can't look at their own face. It's impossible" I said
"Then marry me and I'll buy you a thousand mirrors" He said
"But that's so many" I said
"My father's a billionaire. I can give you everything you've ever wanted. And I'm very good looking" He said
"Mm yeah" I said unsure
"Think" He said
"And lights go" The teacher said
The lights shine on Jay
"I don't know" I said
"It's ok you don't know" He said
"But you deserve an answer" I said
"I can wait. For you I would wait a thousand years" He said
"But that's so many" I said
"I know I'm poor. I know I don't have much to offer but I do love you" He said
"Because I'm beautiful?" I said then turned around
"I don't love you because you're beautiful. You're beautiful because I love you" He said turning me around
"Whoa" I said
Disco music comes on. "What up with the disco?" Jade asked
"I'm sorry I hit the wrong thing" Sinjin said
"No 15 years ago you're mother gave birth to the wrong thing" Jade said to him
"Alright why don't we take a break. Tori, Jay you guys were great really nice stuff" The teacher said
"Thanks" I said
"How was I?" Robbie asked him
"I've seen worse" He said
"Uh guys, guys everyone shut up a second" Jade said
"Whatcha got?" Beck asked
"An email from principal Eichner" Jade said
"That says?" I asked
"To all the students involved with our school's production of "uptown, downtown" Sofia Michelle will be in Los Angeles the weekend of the 17th. And will be personally attending open night performance" Jade said reading her phone
"Wow" Everyone said
"Oh my god" The teacher said then held his stomach and ran out
"Who's Sofia Michelle?" I asked
"Oh no, no, no" Jade said dragging Beck away
"What?" I asked
"She gets to be the lead and she doesn't know who Sofia Michelle is" Jade said
"Wait is she the lady who does those infomercials with the vibererting hair brush?" I asked
"I love that hairbrush" Sinjin said
