A few days passes and Taylor is released from the hospital. Her mother picks her up, she can tell she's hurt without her husband.
"Mommy can we go get McDonald's?" Taylor asks.
Delilah only stares at the road ignoring her question. Her grip on the steering wheel gets tighter as anger fills her body.
"No..." She growls at Taylor.
Taylor crosses her arms and closes her eyes laying her head up against the car door. She lightly closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.
--
As they reach home, Delilah doesn't wake up Taylor, she only gets her son out of the car. She smirks hoping that her daughter will die cause she feels as if it's her fault that her husband is dead.
She carries her son into the house locking the car.
Hours have passed as Taylor is still asleep in the car practically melting. She gasps waking up and looking around. She's sweating as she tries to get up, but it's no use, her body feels weak as she cries out for her mother.
"Mommy!" She screeches, but no one can hear her.
"Mommy please!" She yells one more time.
Taylor, falls over again from trying to get up. She's too dehydrated to do anything. Her throat is dry as she still screams out for her mother.
Just then a neighbor hears her screams and he quickly runs over to the car. He spots out the young child and runs to the front door of their house.
Delilah answers smiling her brightens at the man.
He takes a few breaths as he yells out "your child is dying in your car!" The mother acts surprised and quickly gets her keys. She pretends to press the button on the keys but says "my keys won't work!"
The man takes his elbow and smashes it against the drivers side car window. He reaches his hand quickly into the car cutting his hand up a bit on the glass, then he unlocks the car.
Quickly he grabs the child rushing her into the house and laying her down on the couch. He goes and grabs a water bottle then pouring it into her mouth. They little girl coughs up the water as she sits up looking around confused.
"What happened?" She asks confused.
"You almost died, but I saved you." The man says going to grab an ice pack to cool her down.
"Well thank you for saving my," Delilah pauses as she spits out the word "daughter." She smiles brightly.
The man just rolls his eyes and leaves the house. Before he walks out he stops at the door frame and inhales some air loudly. "You need to watch out for your kids closer next time." He says not turning around and walking out.
Delilah is filled with anger and balls up her fists. She turns around to taylor snd starts to charger towards her.
Fear is in Taylor's eyes as her mother raises her fist above her own daughter. She then harshly, painfully, and quickly starts to beat Taylor till blood comes out of her mouth, black eyes, busted lower lip, and bruises all over her arms and face.
For some reason Delilah enjoyed this, she enjoyed beating Taylor.
She smiles demonically and started to laugh as she started to beat Taylor more. She treated Taylor's body like a rag doll. She threw it wall to wall, beating it every which way, pulling her hair.
After half an hour of Delilah's beating, she send Taylor to her room.
After Taylor's in her room she quickly closes the door and locks it. She slides down the door crying and hugging her knees tightly. For once she felt sad, worthless, and above all hated.
