Chapter ten

I ran down the corridor screaming Jabus' name. I finally caught up to him and pushed him against the wall. I catch my breathe and finally ask, "are you okay?" "Maya, leave me alone," he says while pushing me away. I step in front of him and press my lips against his. He resists for some time, but finally gives in. The walk to the cafe was chilled. Most people were in their classes or in their dorms. I got to the cafe and the time was 11:30, but she wasn't here. "I'm here," i say to Jabu. "Who said i was waiting for you?" he asks me. Ouch. "Oh... i uhm... i just figured that you were waiting for me, because you usually do," i say with sadness clear in my voice. "Things change, Maya. And i don't think that we should continue spending time together. You've caused so much trouble for me. I don't want us anymore," he says not looking at me. Tears fill my eyes and i run towards Ora's dorm.

"Maya, are you fine?" he asks as soon as he opens the door. I walk in and realize that he's alone. I pull him in for a hug and squeeze him.
