Chapter nine

In the morning when i woke up, Mpumi was gone. But she had left a note. It read:

Maya, I'm so sorry i just left without saying goodbye. Meet me in the cafe at 11:30.
Ps. Mpumi

Today, I didn't have classes until 13:00. Well, that was the only class i had for the day. It was only 08:43, so i decided to go brush my teeth and take a nice warm shower, wear a simple short floral dress and have some breakfast. I looked into the mirror and realized that my hickeys were more and the others were darker.  The cafe wasn't as full as it usually is. I walked inside looking down and i hit something.

Well, that's what i thought until i looked up. "Are you okay?" he asked me reaching his hand out to help me up. He was beautiful. Very beautiful. He wore a white hoodie, exposing his sexy collarbone and blue jeans. His skin was honey in colour, he had attractive pink lips, and a light mustache above them. I noticed his medium shaped dark brown eyes, and his curly eyelashes, his eyebrows were thick and bald. He was smiling. He had a very beautiful smile, with straight teeth.

"Maya," he says pulling me out of my thoughts. "How do you know my name?" I asked as he helped me up. "I'm one of Jabus' friends. Ora," he said smiling. I don't know what happened, but his arm was wrapped around my waist. I wrapped both of mine around his neck and hugged him. He smelt good, really good actually. I melted into his body and i felt at ease. It felt like I've known this boy for my whole life. He pulled me closer and squeezed me more, lifting me to my tippy-toes.

"Leave room for Jesus," I heard someone say and laugh. We both pulled away from the hug blushing. I looked at the person who was carrying a few snacks. I smiled and waved. "Hi, I'm sorry for disturbing your moment. I'm Tlotliso," he said reaching his hand out to shake mine. "Maya," i said while shaking his. Tlotliso was a very handsome boy. He had a fade, but with braids, he wore a black metallic shirt and black jeans, his skin was light and his face was clear. He looked very familiar, I just don't know where i met him.

I was about to walk away until i felt someone pull my arm. Ora. I spun around and i was facing him now. I could feel his warm breathe on me. Instead of kissing me, he pulled me in for a hug. This one was tighter than the one we had just seconds ago. I tuck my head into his neck and he does the same. A shiver spreads through my body as he kisses my neck. A light moan escapes my lips and i flush. He lets go of me and i almost want to pull him back. We both pull out our phones at the same time to exchange phone numbers. I put his phone onto his pocket after saving my contact. He hands me my phone, but our hands touch. I start feeling 'butterflies in my belly'. I flush, take my phone, say bye and i go get some breakfast.

I ate in the cafe to avoid Lesedi. Once i was done, I went to my dorm, and wore the hoodie Jabu had forgotten here some time back and a pair of shorts, and laid on the bed. The time was 09:26. Lesedi walked in with Bonolo, Gundo, Brooklyn, Fortune and Lebo. Lebo's eyes immediately land on her mans' hoodie. "Take it off, you whore. He told you that he wants nothing to do with you," her annoying voice fills my ears. I take it off, letting my perky boobs pop out and they all stare at the dark marks all over my neck and chest, including my boobs. "Shit," Brooklyn says. "Is there a problem, guys?" I ask them, earning all of their eyes to mine. Gundo winks at me, bringing a rush of warm in my lower stomach. Fortune smirks and i flush.

"And you guys wonder why i call her a whore," Lebo says. "Well, i gave her those," Lesedi says glaring at Lebo. "The only whore in here is you," Jabu says as he walks in. His eyes land on my tits and then he makes eye contact. He looks hurt. But I couldn't care less. "Why the fuck would you try to seduce Puse?" he asked angrily. She was about to speak, but Jabu pulled his phone out and played the video. She was in a room I've never been to before. She started stripping and Puse threw her clothes in her face and told her to get dressed. Jabu turned it off. "Everything was going great. I was happy, Lebo. I was beyond happy. And then you came back. You started telling me that you love me and that you wanna stay committed to me, but what do your do? You try seducing my half brother," he says.

By this time, Lebo is crying and busy apologizing. "You're the one that was fucking Maya. You said that no one has ever made you feel as good as she did. And it hurt me. It hurt me so much," she sobbed. "You know what? I don't care about what you do with that video. I don't want to be with you. I want nothing to do with you. Stay the fuck away from me," he said and left the dorm.

Questions about this 'video' flood my mind. I was just so curious. Jabu even has a half-brother. Seems like i really gave myself when i barely knew him.

Lebo fell to the ground, and all of the girls sat around her. I wasn't going to listen to cry over the same boy i had feelings for. I grabbed his hoodie and pulled it over my head  before running after him.
