Chapter twenty-seven

I spent the whole week with Lea. Yes, I missed all of my classes. I didn't care really. It was the last weak and Lesedi told me that nothing was happening.

On Friday morning, Lea and I went to fetch a few of my things from school. Jabu was waiting for us by the dorm door. Gosh I missed his pretty face.

He pulled me in for a tight hug and I squeezed him back. "I missed you," he said. "I missed you more," I replied.

"Where are you going for these holidays?" I asked him. "I'm just gonna stay here. What about you?" Stay here? That makes me sad.

"Why don't you come with us?" Lea shocked me by asking. Jabu? Come? With me and Leago? Tense.

"Are you sure?" he asked. "I'm sure," she smiled. Lea was being awkwardly nice. "We'll come to your room later," she added. Jabu smiles and disappeared out of the room.

"Why did you do that?" I ask. "Because you like him. And I'm gonna be with my hoes most of the time. You're gonna need someone to keep you warm," she laughed. Of course she'd say something like that.

About thirty minutes later, we put my bags in my car. We walk to Jabu's room and he was with Lesedi and Brooklyn. "They're sexy," she whispered. "I know, Lea," I laughed.

My laugh caused them to turn around. Lesedi locks eyes with me and Brook scans Leago. "I also wanna pull up," Brooklyn says. "So pull up," Lea smirks. Oh I need a new best friend.

"Yeah, I also wanna come," Lesedi says. "Guys, I know I don't know you, but come," she says. "Where are we going?" Lesego asks. Great. Just great.

"We're going to Kimberley," I say. "Who's driving?" Mpumi asks. She's here as well!? "I'm taking my car and so is Maya the whore," she says. Did she just call me a whore?

"I'm gonna go pack my shit," Brooklyn says. "Me too," they all say and leave. Brooklyn takes Lea's hand and they walk away together. So they left me with Jabu? Woooow.

"Do you think Lea would be chilled if I bring the guys with?" he asks me as I sit on his bed. "She won't mind," I smile.

I actually missed this boy. All the Netflix and chilling, the laughing, the sleeping, everything. I went up to him and kissed him.

"What was that for?" he asked after I pulled away. "I missed you," I say. "I missed you too," he says and hugs me.

He takes his phone out and texts the boys.

An hour later, we all meet at the cafe. We were a loooooottt. It was Brooklyn, Lesedi, Gundo, Bonolo, Mpumi, Lesego, Fortune, Lethu, Puse, Ora, Amo and Tlotliso. Wait. Is that Lebo? Oh my fucking god. Why is she here?

"So who here has a car?" Lea asked. "Well, I have a Hyundai H1. Who wants to tag along with me?" Tlotliso asks. Bonolo, Mpumi, Gundo, Lesego, Fortune, Amo and Lesedi move to him.

"Yo' I'm taking your car," Puse says to Jabu who hands him the keys. "I'm going with Brook," Lea smiles. "I'm going with Ora," Lebo's annoying voice says. This means that I'm going with Jabu. Yayyy.

"Let's get going then. We'll spend the night in Bloemfontein if it gets too late. I'll call you guys," she says. "Shit! I forgot my toys," Lesedi says and runs to get them.

"Toys?" Lea asks. "Toooyyyysssss," I say and she laughs. When Lesedi comes back, we all walk to the parking lot together.

Lea sets everyone's GPS and says, "you guys could just follow me." The boys laugh and Puse says, "no thank you. We wanna get there quickly." "I actually think that we should sleep in Bloemfontein," Brooklyn says. "I think so too," I say.

"Can we fucking buy booze?" Ora asks. Of course he wants booze.

They argued for over half an hour about booze and all I could do was laugh. I can't take them seriously. "I'm actually gonna be hungry on the road," I say over them.

"We're all gonna be hungry, Maayyyaaa," Lea laughs. "How about we eat at Klerksdorp?" Lesedi asks. "Perfect," Brooklyn says.

"Can we fucking leave already?" Mpumi asks. "Yes please," Fortune says.

Everyone walks to their cars. "I'm driving to Klerksdorp," I say to Jabu. "Fine," he says and sits in the passenger seat.

He connects via Bluetooth and plays a playlist I made for him before all of the Lebo drama.

The first car was Lea's grey Mercedes AMG A45, followed by Puse and Lethu in Jabu's blue M4, then my black Mercedes AMG CLA, then Ora's white M4 and lastly, Tlotliso's white H1.

These three weeks were about to be very hectic. I don't even think I'm ready for it.
