Chapter forty-three

We've been talking about which tattoo I want. "Okay okay. What do you like?" Tumi asked me. "I don't know," I cry.

"Lord, bless my soul," Tumi said. "Okay listen. You can give me any type of tattoo," I say and Tumi smiles. She hugs me and fetches her equipment. I better not regret this.

"Take your hoodie and bra off," she says and I widen my eyes. "It for the tattoo. I have a girlfriend," she says. I undress and she started at the purple marks all over my my neck, chest and boobs.

"Wild night?" she asks smiling. "You could say that," I smile back. "Who's the lucky person?" she asks as presses the tattoo machine under my right boob.

We continue to talk about our love lives. I couldn't make out what she was drawing on my skin but it didn't hurt that much. I may have moaned a few times. Okay, I moaned. A lot of times actually.

"Done," she said smiling. She looked proud of her work. I got up and walked to the mirror. There was a tiny dream catcher under my right boob. It looked so cool.

"Tumi, this is beautiful," I said. I hugged her and she hugged me back. "Okay get dressed before Fortune thinks we're fucking," she laughed.

I dressed and went to meet my friends. "Tattoo reveal?" Puse asked. All of us got tattoos and only a few of us got piercings.

"We reveal at the same time," Lethu said. "Three two one," Janet counted. I removed my hoodie as we all undressed.

Their tattoos looked so good. "Maya, I can't see yours properly. Mind taking the bra off?" Hlogi smirked. I unclipped my bra and they all looked at my tattoo. I feel like they were looking at my hickeys.

The drive home was pretty chilled and no one has noticed my tongue piercing.

"Plans for tomorrow?" I ask when we get into the house. "I don't know really. We'll talk about it," Lea said.

We all head to our rooms and I was alone. Good.

"Fuck. I'm so horny," a voice says. I open my eyes and see Warona. "I can't help you," I say. "Why?" she asks. I stick my tongue out and she groans.

"Lemme eat you," she says. "No," I reply. "I'm done fucking around," I say to her. "Maya, listen," she says. "No. Now if you're not here to sleep, leave," I say. She leaves my room angrily and I go back to sleep.

"Morning," I say when I get downstairs. Everyone greets me back except for Warona. How bitter is she?

I hug Fortune and give her a kiss. "Why did you stop?" she whispers. I stick my tongue out and she gets excited. "Once that heals, I'm gonna ride your face everyday," she says.

Shit. Now I can't fuck my girl. Wait. Did I just call her my girl? Well, no one heard me but I still thought it. I actually like the sound of it. Fortune, my girl.

We ate our meal in peace. Kea kept looking at me and I kinda felt uncomfortable. "Maya, follow me," Lea said. I get up and follow her to the front door. For some odd reason, we were in her car.

"Where are we going?" I ask. "Oh. I need gas," she says. "Lemme drive," I say. She rolled her eyes and we exchange seats.

"I like Brooklyn. I also got accepted into your school," she says. "You didn't even tell me that you applied," I say. "I wanted to surprised you, dummy," she says. "I'm happy for you, baby. I'll hug you when we get to the petrol station," I say.

She tells me about how she likes Brooklyn and blah blah blah. "Tell her," I say. "I should tell her that I like her?" she asks. "Yes. Tell her. Soon actually," I say. "And when are you gonna tell Fortune?" she asks me.

What the fuck? I haven't told Lea about Fortune. "I've seen how cozy you two are. I know you like her and she likes you too," she tells me. "Shoot your shot, you dumbass," she adds.

"I'm gonna do it. But only if you tell Brook," I say. "Deal," she replies.

"Where were you two?" Fortune asks. "You didn't say bye, Maya," she adds. I go to her and hug her. I take her hand and I lead her outside.

"I love you," I say and she begins to cry. Did I do something wrong?
