Walking out of her Global Business Policies class, Adiya made her way to the local cafe. She had woke up late in the morning, and had to rush out of her apartment, without any sustenance.
Hearing her stomach growl, Adiya shook her head.
"I'm gonna put some food in you baby, but you have to work with me here."
Getting closer to the cafe door, Adiya did a fast paced walk, until she reached the door. Walking into The Chill Spot, Adiya smiles with delight. The smell of food could always bring her to her happy place.
Getting into line, she waited behind two people. Feeling her phone buzz, she quickly looked around to see if anybody was watching, before opening the text thread.
Giver🥵 Where you at? Read 2:19 p.m.
I'm at the cafe by the business building Read 2:20 p.m.
Giver🥵 I'm bout to come scoop you. Read 2:20 p.m.

"I know this raggedy ass nigga did not leave me on delivered. I got something for his ass when I see him."
Looking up from her phone, Adiya realized that it was her turn to go the cashier.
"I'm sorry for making you wait." She said to the cashier.
The female cashier shrugged, "It ain't nothing. What can I get you today?"
Adiya didn't even have to think. She got the same thing every time she came here.
"Let me get a chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce, American cheese, and bacon. For a side, I'll take a small cheese bites. For my drink, I'll take a Hi-C Fruit Punch."
When she was done, she looked the cashier in her eyes.
"Ok I got a chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce, American cheese, and bacon. Cheese bites as the side, and a Hi-C Fruit Punch as your drink?"
