Recap:

And with that, he gave me one last smile and turned to leave. Its official, I am in love. I thought to myself, with a content sigh.

------------------------------------------------------------------

I was in a daze, with my bags in hand, the Hermes kid could clearly tell I was out of it.

"So, what's you're name?" The brunette kid asked me, scaring the living daylights out of me.

I jumped, I could feel my heart stop for a millisecond, I took a shakey breath and told the Hermes kid my name, "I'm Mariah Goode, nice to meet you." I told him with an outstretched hand, waiting for him to shake it.

He was analyzing me, I could tell, it looked as though a lightbulb went off in his head, and then he gave me a playful smirk, while shaking my hand, "I'm Connor Stoll."

I nodded, now knowing the boys name. "I hate to assume things, but I believe you like the infamous Jason Grace. Am I wrong?"

My eyes went wide, I panicked, he read my emotions in that short minute that he saw me and Jason? Gods. "N-nooo, of course not."

I awkwardly looked around the cabin, trying my best to ignore Connor. I took in the ran down floors, the homey atmosphere, the multitude of bunk beds, and the nicnacs hanging around on dressers and shelves, that should have been for books and photos, but they had trophies and baskets of things were in place of them. There was also shoes and clothes littering the ground to, like a typical teenage room has.

"Hey- Earth to Mariah! I'm trying to talk to you." Someone was waving and snapping in front of my face, trying to get my attention.

It worked, and I accepted my fate, so I decided to stop ignoring him. "Yes Connor?" I skeptically looked up at him, wondering what he has to say.

"So, I'd like to say welcome to the Hermes cabin, and fair warning, keep your values close, people around here like to collect things, as you can tell." He motioned to the light greenish walls.

"O-oh, well thank you? I guess." I was confused, is this guy going to steal my stuff, I felt a little fearful.

"Anyways, pick a bunk, settle in and do what you want, I'll get you for dinner when its time." And with that, he left with to my own devices.

I reluctantly chose a empty bottom bunk, and put my books and pictures of me and my dad up on a nearby shelf, above the headboard. I then decided I should do what I'm best at, reading. So I plucked a book off the shelf and got to reading.

*timeskip*

I was reading, for what felt like seconds, but I guess it had been around two hours, I knew this when I looked up at the clock that was hanging on the wall. I determined that it was around dinner time and I decided to get ready to go eat. Slipping on my shoes and brushing out my hair, I heard a knock in the door, I already knew who it was, it was Connor, coming to get me so we could eat dinner.

"Heyo, Mariah. You ready? Let's go to the pavilion." He told me, halfway outside the cabin.

"Pavilion?" I was confused, I thought we were going to a restaurant or something.

"Oh yeah, you dont know. We all eat outside in the pavillion, it's kinda like a shelter in a park. Anywho, I'm leaving if you arent coming."

I was on my way to the door when he said that. He nodded and with that, we were off to the pavilion to eat some, hopefully great food.
