"Good morning."
Jennie gulped and froze when she heard that familiar voice of Lisa that morning. Her voice was the last thing she wanted to hear in that very moment, but it only takes her awhile to show any emotion. She continued walking towards the breakfast table and casually made herself something to eat. "Good morning."
A smile was forming on her lips. "You are up early today."
After sipping from her coffee, she answered. "I usually wakes up early in the morning."
"Really?" From the teasing sound on her voice it gave Jennie a warning that she would say something she surely wouldn't like. "But that's not what happened that morning on the first day of our marriage, right?"
That made her almost spit out the coffee from her mouth. She tried to keep in her anger but she was not able to control the heat that made her cheeks go red. "I already told you before, I'm tired. Why are you still here anyway? I thought you have to go to the office?"
"I usually go at eight o'clock." Lisa answer in a casual tone. "Do you have any plans for today?"
Jennie gritted her teeth. "Do I really have to tell you everything that I want to do?"
Her wife frowned at her. "Obviously you have to tell me where you are going. You are my wife."
"You don't have to rub it in my face."
Lisa put the mug down she was holding back to the table with force which made Jennie almost jumped out from her seat. She waited for her to yell at her but she did not. Instead, a credit card was put infront of her.
"Here's my credit card. Go shop for nice dresses because we will be attending a party tonight. It's time I introduced you to society as MY WIFE."
Those words made an impact to Jennie like an earthquake. She froze in her seat then stared at her with huge eyes but she manage to calm herself before she speak. "I have plans on visiting our company to see if they were doing fine."
Her facial expression remained cold. "Then take the driver with you."
Her eyes were full of disagreement when she meets her eyes. She feels like she was paying her after what happened to them last night. "I don't need anything from you!"
She watched as Lisa's eyes rage in anger when she stood up and went near her before going to the back of her chair. Her warm hands held her shoulders. She tried to stop herself from shivering because of the effect she has on her body. For a moment, she felt her breathe in her neck before her lips started kissing a spot then bit it.
A gasped came out from her mouth in surprise and manage to stop the moan that was about to come out after. She glared at Lisa in anger. "Damn you!"
She only smirked at her before taking her coat which was hanging on the backrest of her chair and looks like she was about to go. "I'll pick you up at eight tonight."
Jennie was burning red from shame and anger while holding the part of her neck which Lisa had left with a prominent love bite. Damn her! What did she think of her? A property that she has to leave with a mark?
But her whole body was shivering not because of anger, it's because of lust.
Lust that she couldn't deny last night. That was the reason why she was so annoyed today and the reason why she didn't want to see her is because she's ashamed of herself. How can Lisa do that to her?
That happened again when they made love. It was as if, every time her wife touch her, she was losing self control! Why is this happening to her?
Still feeling enrage with herself she left the house. As she reached the company owned by her family, their employees and executives greeted her with full of respect. She did not bring the driver with her and it does not bother her if Lisa would get mad in which they would probably end up having an argument again because of that. So far, everything is going well and no problem had occur in their company. She attended meetings, new projects and business proposals had been discussed to her which are submitted by their employees and marketing advisors. It was five in the afternoon when she was finished.
When she passed by a boutique shop that's when remembered about the party that she was going to attend with her wife. She went in and bought a simple and elegant black evening dress with a matching black sandals.
She never liked going to parties, but it was her obligation to go with Lisa. When her brother is finally at peace, she will file for a divorce instantly.
Jongin... She wonder how he is doing right now?
She maneuver her car and drive to the Kim's mansion. The maids greeted her and felt disappointed when she learned that her brother just fell asleep. Peeking through his room door, sadness filled her entire being while staring at his pale face.
"Finally you decided to visit here today."
Jennie turns to look at the voice who greeted her and saw the smiling face of Doctor Nam Joohyuk, he was the personal doctor of her brother. She gave him a warm smile before returning her eyes back to Jongin. "How is he?"
Joohyuk's smile vanished. "He's getting worse, but still he didn't want to be admitted at the hospital. He's very stubborn."
"Did you make him sleep?"
He nodded. "Yes. Awhile ago, he was twisting from pain."
Tears pooled from the corner of her eyes. "Did he really have to go through all that?"
"Jennie-yah, I'm sorry. I'm doing everything that I can."
Shaking her head, she turn to face him. "I know that. I just wish that I was here to take care of him." she bit her bottom lip. "I'm sorry, Joohyuk-ssi. I'm really sorry for not having a chance to apologize about giving you false hope and for leading you on."
Joohyuk shook his head and held both of her shoulders. "I know. And I also know the reason why you married your wife. It's just one of the reason why I fell inlove with you."
Jennie feels like there was a lump in her throat that was making it hard for her to swallow. She leaned her head on his chest, looking for a strength to keep her strong.
"Am I interrupting something?"
The two instantly look at the direction where that cold voice came from and Jennie's eyes grew wider when she saw her wife standing a few meters away from them.
"L-Lisa? What are you doing here?"
Lisa's eyes were glaring daggers towards the doctor's direction which the latter answered by glaring back at her while moving away from Jennie. "I went home early and I thought about picking you up so we can both get ready for the party tonight. Your employees says you're already out so I figured you will go here."
She nervously gulped and walk towards her. "O-Okay, let's go."
Jennie was still two steps away from Lisa when the latter reach over and took her hand pulling her along with her outside, almost practically dragging her out of the mansion and pushed her inside the car.
"Just what the hell was that supposed to mean?" Lisa asked angrily, almost in the verge of yelling, the moment she got inside the driver's seat and turned on the car's machine.
"What are you talking about?"
"You know what the hell I'm talking about, damn it! I thought I made it clear to you that you must end your relationship with him once we got married."
"If you're implying that I'm cheating on you with Dr. Nam Joohyuk then you're wrong." Jennie answered back coldly. "He's the doctor of Jongin oppa and I admit that I dated him before you blackmailed me to marry you. But I'm not an immoral type of person to do things like what you're thinking. You're insulting both of us by implying it!"
Lisa kept her mouth shut tightly and they went home in silence.
