Inside the conference room, a meeting was on going but Lisa's mind was thinking about something else or rather someone. These past days since she married Jennie, she couldn't think of something else but her wife. She could see that she's becoming weak and gloomy. Even Naeun notices her wife's condition when she visited them. When she asked the housekeeper, they told her that Jennie's been leaving the house more often, but she was not saying anything to her about where she goes.

It was really hard for her to reach out to her wife. There was this huge wall that she built around herself which she didn't know how to break. Sometimes she was tempted to just end their marriage to stop the unexplainable suffering that Jennie was giving to her. But whenever she think of that, it feels like it was piercing her heart and she couldn't breathe.

She was scared of what will happen to her. It was very unfamiliar and it made her feel vulnerable and she didn't like it. That night of the party when Suzy talked to them, she thought of making her wife jealous. Why? Maybe because she was hoping that Jennie might have feelings for her even if it's just a little, but there was none. Instead, Jennie felt sorry for Suzy! And she didn't know that it irritates her more. And how dare she told her that that gold digger was inlove with her.

What does she know about love? If Jennie knew what love means, then she should be inlove with her.

She frowned when she saw her secretary was hesitating whether to walk towards her or not. Annoyed, she raised her hand and signaled her to come towards her when the executives were all giving her a look. Her secretary walk to her and she waited for her to speak on what she was about to tell her.

"Sajangnim." she whispered. "I received a call from one of your servants at home. She said that the nurse of Mr. Kim Jongin called saying that Ma'am Jennie was sick."

She suddenly stood up, surprising the people around the conference room, there was like a knife that stabbed her on the chest. She felt herself having trouble breathing and when she look at her hands, they were trembling. So she hid them on her slacks pocket and faced her executives coldly.

"This meeting is cancelled. I have a family emergency that I need to attend to."

Without waiting for an answer. She quickly dashed out of the conference room and went straight down to the parking lot. The moment she got inside her car she quickly switch the ignition on and drove fast. What happened to her wife?

She was almost panting when she finally reached the Kim's mansion. When the housekeeper saw her, they all cowered from fear.

"Where is my wife?" She inquired in a high tone almost shouting.

The doctor whom she saw hugging her Jennie the last time she went here greeted her. She felt the urge to threw a punch on his face but she controlled herself.

"Ms. Manoban, this way please. I'll explain everything to you along the way."

Lisa followed him but after taking three steps she growled again. "Well?"

"Jennie forced herself to take care of Jongin even though she was already tired. She wouldn't listen to anybody and even told the housekeeper to keep it a secret. When I found out, she was already having a fever." Joohyuk answered. "I already made her drink a medicine, she's sleeping right now."

"Where is Jennie now?" She ask with a tone as cold as ice. Why did her wife did that? Did she think that she could save Jongin when she died from exhaustion?

"Before that, there is something we need to take care of." says the doctor, still worrying. "Mr. Kim is.. he cannot take all of the home treatment anymore. He needs to be confined at the hospital, his condition is getting worse. But since we couldn't talk to Mrs. Manoban, there is nothing we could do."

Lisa was about to say that she didn't care whatever they will do to Jongin when she thought about her wife. She will not forgive her when she learned that she didn't took care of Jongin's needs.

"Fine." She said. "Do whatever you have to do."

Dr. Nam nodded seriously and led her towards one of the rooms. When they went in, Lisa saw her wife lying flat on the bed. Sleeping and sweaty. She went near the bed and gently stroke her face completely forgetting that there was another person watching them.

"Ms. Manoban." the doctor disturb. "you can let her stay here. I know that you are a busy type of person and I can take care of her while you are working."

She threw a glare towards his direction and said. "I can take care of my own damn wife!"

The doctor nodded and walked away but Lisa saw the disappointment which crossed his face. When the doctor was completely out of the room she carried her wife gently.

It was time for them to go home.

"Jennie-yah...?" She whispered while tenderly caressing her face. "Jennie, Baby?"

Jennie's eyes slowly started to open and her heart went full from relief when her feline eyes met hers. She really got scared to what happen to her wife... so scared...

"Lisa...?" confused and in a husky voice Jennie called.

"Jennie?" She cleared her throat and suddenly thought of all the things she was thinking while driving to get to her, anger flooded her entire being. "What do you think you're doing, huh?! Is this the reason why you're always tired and weak? What the hell were you thinking?!"

"W-What are you doing here?" she asked, still confused. Her eyes suddenly grew wide and sits up the bed. "Oppa! Where is Jongin oppa?"

She held both of her shoulders and stop her from going down the bed. "Calm down, he's doing fine."

"But... but I have to go to him!" she shouted weakly and tried to go down the bed again. "Something might happen to him!"

"That's enough!" She commanded making her stopped from resisting. "You're sick and almost died from exhaustion while taking care of him! I've arranged for him to be confined to the hospital already. So calm down!"

"No! I don't want to! I have to see my brother!"

"Stop it, Jennie!" She shook her body. "Do you think he would be fine if you died? Stop and let me take care of you!"

"You don't understand!" she screamed while tears are starting to fall from her eyes. "If he dies... I will be left in this world alone!"

And that made Jennie cry even more. Letting all of her worries and fears out that she had been keeping to herself while sobbing on her wife's chest. All Lisa could do is to hug her tight.

"Lisa..." she heard her calls her name in a weak voice. "What will I do... when Jongin oppa died? Tell me, Lisa... Tell me..."

She couldn't answer but with every words that Jennie was saying feels like the weight on her chest keeps getting heavier. If she only knew how much she loves her. If she could only tell her what she had been wanting to happen for a long time now since they got married...

Was for her to love her back...
