Flowers

"Can I take the blind fold off yet?" Patton asked in a whiny voice.
"Not yet. We're almost there I promise." Remus replied with an amused tone.
They walked quietly for another moment when Remus stopped Patton and positioned him... somewhere.
Patton could feel the sun warming him. He heard Remus rustling around doing something.
"Okay. Now!"
Patton removed the cloth that had been covering his eyes to see that they were in a meadow surrounded by a dark forest. The sun shown in creating a golden haze all around, there were hundreds of wild flowers all over the place. Patton smiled widely when he saw his boyfriend sitting on top of a picnic blanket on the ground with food set up.
"Remus... you did all of this for me?"
Remus nodded smiling up at his boyfriend and motioning for him to sit beside him. Patton obliges, leaning his head on Remus' shoulder.
They had dinner together in the light of the sunset smiling and laughing together. Once they finished, Remus pulled Patton into his lap and kissed his cheek. "Remus!" Patton pretended to complain but just ended up smiling and giggling as Remus kissed him more.
They made flower crowns for each other with the flora that grew in the meadow, laughing and talking without a care in the world.
When the sun had completely set, the couple lay on the blanket looking up at the stars.
"Hey Patton?" Remus suddenly said.
"Yes Re?" Patton replied a little confused.
" I think I love you."
" I think I love you too."
The pair lay under the stars stealing occasional kisses from one another, each man happy to be with the one he loved.
