Butterflies.

Why are butterflies the first thing I see?

I expected..the blue sky, not flying insects.

But now that I think about it, where am I?

I...can't remember a single thing.

What's on my face? ...A mask?

There's something flowing down my body.

Is it blood? Who's blood?

"You...Human of the Lunar Moon, are a worthy *cough* opponent. "

Who's that?

"I would like....a rematch *cough* *cough* in the future. "

What are they talking about?

"And to make sure....we have this battle, *cough* something must be *cough* taken.. "

What do they mea- AHHH

My eyes shoot open at the searing pain in my throat, clawing and surrounding my voice. I see these, dark purplish red eyes staring into my own eyes, satisfied on it's decision.

"Your voice will do."

A sudden immense pain starts to eat at my throat, something ripped out in a slow manner. The hand of this enemy appears in front of my eyes, holding something small and bloody. It then rips a piece of purple cloth from something and places the bloody thing in it before rapping the cloth around it and placing it in it's pocket.

The feeling of liquids running out the side of my mouth continues as the monster chuckles in joy and lust for battle.

"We will meet again....Human of the Lunar Moon."

The monster disappears from my sight as it starts to blur, the moon unblocked by the monster's figure shines it's lunar light on me and gives me one last look at the beautiful orb floating in the dark blue sky.

"Wake up..."

Huh?

"Wake up!"

"Do you think he's...."

"No, his heart is still beating."

Did I..survive?

"I think I may have an idea."

What are they doing?

*SPLASH *

I sit up from my position awake and gasping for any air I could get. The two figures that were once in front of me back away in shock from my sudden action as I slowly calm down, feeling around my throat for any injuries.

"Are you ok, mister?" One of the figures asks in a young feminine voice as I look around in confusion.

I'm apparently in a room with see-through sliding doors, wooden stairs and a small table in the center with many bowls on it, covered with weird looking paste.

"It's ok, your safe here. We found you in a pretty bad shape near the mountain by the village." The other figure says in a masculine voice, looking at me in curiosity as I pull myself together.

I put my hands together and bow before saying thanks to the two kind strangers, trying to be nice to my saviors. My throat still hurts, aching and pulsing at my every action as something slowly dries up in there.
