"Guys, I have to go, my date is soon." I say, standing up in Eric's basement. "Good luck!" Donna said, "wait, what are you going to wear?" Jackie asked, "my brown dress and my white long sleeve with flowers on it." I say, she nods and smiles.
" I'll see you guys there." I say walking out of the door and up the stairs.
I walked to my car and drove home and took a shower and washed my hair and my body. When I got out I curled my hair and did a little bit of makeup before styling my hair and then I put my shoes on.
"Where are you going?" I heard, my parents were watching tv, "I'm going to the drive in. On a date." I say, "with who?" My dad asked, "his name is Edward. He's new at school." I say, "do we get to meet him?" Mom asked,
As soon as she said that, the door bell went off.
I went to the door, and there he was, in all his glory, he was holding one single sunflower in his hand.
Sunflowers are my favorite, how did he know?
"Hello." He says, smiling at me, I smile back and the door was pushed open wider.
" you must be Edward. I'm Meadows mom Colleen, and this is her father, John." Mom says holding her hand out.
"Hello." He said after he handed me the sunflower.
"Meadow and I are just going to see Jaws at the drive in. We should be back around 10:30." Edward said,
"Have fun you two." Mom said, taking the flower from me and pushing me out the door. I laughed as Edward wrapped his arm around me as we walked to his car.
He opened the door for me, "thank you." I said, getting into his car. He smiled at me and then pulled away from my house.
We shortly pulled up at the drive in, Edward paid for the tickets and we found a parking spot.
"Do you want some snacks?" He asks, "yeah, I'll go get some. Be right back." I say, leaning over and kissing his cheek before getting out of his car and walking over to the confession stand, I noticed Fez and Kelso standing in line.
"Hey guys." I say standing with them, don't worry, I didn't cut the line.
"Hey Mead." Fez says, "hey." Kelso said,
We got our snacks and I said goodbye to my friends and made my way back to Edwards car.
I opened the door and climbed in, putting our drinks in the cup holder.
"I got you a drink and some popcorn, I didn't know what you liked." I say, "thank you." He said, and shortly after the movie started.
We talked and laughed during the movie.

Edward walked me to my front door, "I had a really good time tonight Meadow." He said, I turned to him and smiled, "I did too." I say, "I'll see you at school tomorrow?" I asked, looking up at him hopefully.
"Of course. See you tomorrow." He said bending down and pressing his cold lips to my cheek. I blushed and went inside.
"How did it go?" Mom asked, her and dad were watching tv, "amazing." I say, going into the kitchen and getting a drink.
"Alright, well, we are going to bed. Goodnight baby." Mom said walking upstairs, I smiled and nodded.
"Goodnight mom and dad." I say, and walk to my room and change into my pajamas before sliding into my bed, staring at the sunflower sitting on my dresser in the small vase.
